Author's Response: I wanted to build the suspense and tension a little, lmao. It probably dragged on much longer than it should've done but sometimes I don't know when to just quit? I'm really happy you're able to see that Tom has no willpower or control around Bill, it's what I've been trying to emphasise for this to properly progress. What her dad said was pretty accurate, actually. She's young, beautiful, rich and naive; she fell for the guy who worshipped her but thought of her as a mere possession, something similar to a trophy. Yes, he's a very big asshole, I have to agree.
