*is a third of the way through* Omg, this is the best ever XD I flippin' love Sims. I've had all four in my life, ever since 2002 ^^ Kinda surprised that Bill only has Sims 2. I guess this takes place when they were teenagers? edit: Nevermind, I JUST noticed the dates, lol.
*keeps reading* Lol, Bill's the opposite of me; I like playing expansions the moment they come out.
Heh, and now it's gone from open world to closed world again, with Sims 4. Flippin' grrr DX And the whole no toddlers thing. But besides those two issues, I ADORE the new version. Love the textures and how mobile their expressions are now ^^

Incest bug in the game, bullshiiiiiit XD No, Erik! Don't cut all of that! XD
That part with the Pumba scare was funny, lol.
The new customization is indeed unbeatable *heart* Now they truly look like the person.
That ending was sugar sweet! *more hearts*
PS: Omg, forgot to mention how much I loved that the Gs' sims were having a vida loca life while the twin sims were having a nice quiet life XD

Awh loved it!!! Ahah I remember the really old sims (vaguely) and my dad was teaching me how to play it!!! Omg and the characters were so damn ugly!!! Is sims four that good? It looks so confusing (I have the other three but I don't like sims 3 as much as 2.. )
ahah loved it!! (Again) it brought back so many memories (and made me want to go and play on it!!)

Oh my god, I love this so much! Just some lighthearted fun and it was just what I needed (even though I didn't even know before)and you write them so realistic and the whole idea is just so freaking adorable and now I'm sitting here squealing because you just made me very happy. *deep breath* :D
I actually knew about the bug before because when my friend and I play, we sometimes make us sisters and our sims ended up making out once, too. It cracked us up at that time because she'd just figured out she's bi and I'm still thinking I may have tendencies, too, and then we had so much fun (*cough* ...with the game). xD
I can't believe I forgot all about that, especially since it's so perfect for the twins! Now I have the strong urge to facedesk because I never thought of that...
Anyway, thank you so much for writing this sweet piece and making me see the obvious ^^ it's in my favourites already. Would you ever consider a sequel?
Author's Response: Oh thank you! The sims is so entertaining lol. I would love to write a sequel but I just don't know what it would be about. Perhaps Georg gets his own copy of the game, I don't know lol.

OMFG HAYLEY THIS IS AMAZING.
I was laughing the whole way through, your dialogue is so perfect and amusing and well written. Sooooooo good.
Ohh and Tom throughout was such a sweet presence, and so kind to Bill. I loved this SO MUCH. Just the best kind of classic twins, and the Gs were in it so much too. This is just too perfect!
I'm still chuckling at the fact Bill made himself into a sim fairy, omfg. And all that stuff about Bill playing with Georg and Gustav and setting everything on fire and children being taken away and getting flattened by meteors, I'm so amused right now lolol this story is so good.
Also also, can you really get all that stuff for sims, the stuff Bill was telling the Gs about like dragons and mermaids and pirates and ALL THAT REALLY AWESOME STUFF??? I wish I had more of a disposable income now lol.
Anyway, loved loved this so much :)

Never played in Sims but now I really want to! How does it even work, are you deciding about every move of your character or you are just creating them and they living on they own? Are you drawing them or using some patterns?
Your Bill and Tom are great! Especially Tom is very handsome!
Author's Response: Oh thank you so much :) I would love to write more, I am just not sure what it would be about now that the twins have each other and Bill doesn't need to play the sims to get his Tomi love lol. rnrnEach sims game as a 'Create A Sim' mode where you make your sims, it's different in each game. In the first game you got to choose the head and the body and that was it lol. Then once Sims 2 came along it because more advanced and you got sliders to tweak their face shapes and body shapes and you got different hair and make up etc, similar in Sims 3. In Sims 4 you can basically 'mould' them to look exactly how you want just by dragging your mouse around on them, it's pretty fun. You choose how much control you have over them, you can make them completely autonomous so they'll just do whatever they want (but will stop what they are doing if you tell them to do something else) or you can give them no autonomy and control everything.

I am SCREAMING this is one of the cutest fics I have ever read, it's one of those things where I want to quote everything that made me giggle but jk that's the WHOLE FIC. Totally love the premise, and impregnated gay Gustav, and all their banter is so perfect and reads just like their real life dynamic. And Tom being sort of on the periphery and all amused by everyone else's antics and casually covering for Bill as needed, and then the ending holy shit Tom is the smoothest dork around. This was the perfect fluff it was sweet and funny without rotting your teeth and the twins smooched in the end, so. I am happy.

Oh my god, I love this! I was laughing so much reading it and you made me so jealous because Sims doesn't work on the computer I have now and I miss it so much! Also, is that mermaid/merman one real? :o like is there an extension pack where they can actually become mermaids?! I used to collect Sims 3 ones (and Sims 2, I had them all *sigh) but then my computer crashed and on this one it doesn't work so stopped buying them since I couldn't play them anyway *sigh*
Anyway! This was really such a great story! I was a bit sceptical first because I never thought it could be entertaining to read about someone playing The Sims, but you proved me wrong, it was so much fun!

Author's Response: Aw I'm glad you liked it! I am sorry you can't play, I had that problem for years where my computer couldn't run the games but I still bought them and all the packs for when I could play LOL. Everything Bill says about the sims is completely factual, including the mermaids/mermen haha. 
The mermaids came with the Island Paradise pack which is also when they brought in all the water stuff like houseboats, diving/swimming in the ocean, building houses on stilts over the water etc. It was my favourite of them all.
