Author's Response: There definitely is! Maybe I shouldn't be surprised to hear that sex addiction is something that most of the addicts will have to live with forever, because sexual addiction has a relatively worse stigma.

As much as I would love to make that happen, I feel as if I understand Tom much better. Author's Response: I believe that she is one of my favorite original characters to bring to life (I am still unable to decide whether she resembles Simone in my mind - probably not), seeing that Billy craves a mother figure; that really put things into perspective for me as the writer. Why is there blood?
Hopefully, Tom/Bill isn't too big for each other.
I detected a few part from 50 Shades of Grey, the biting lip part and a few of Tom's characteristic.
I love this story, it's romantic.
It's about two individuals, trying to find someone who can accept each other, even though the whole world is against it.
Billy clearly has a painful past but Tom is still a mystery and that's what keep this story going, and if it's a book, keep the page turning, with Billy as the damsel in distress and Tom as knight in shining armour.
A dangerous, love story.
There'll be a lot of obstacles in this story (tragic romantic) but they'll be okay in the end.

Aha, I'm not quite sure how to react to the "50 Shades of Grey" comparison... It's sad how that trilogy is able to claim any and all scenarios of a powerful, successful person entangled with another who is considerably weaker (but then again is stronger in other aspects) to be inspired by the lovely E. L. James. Isn't it terribly heartbreaking.

In the beginning of this chapter, it shows that Tom is trying to keep his distance, even with his collegue. Scared that he will find out that Tom is secretly gay.
Frank in a bad marriage. Because he cheats?
The first encounter with Billy has left Tom with the feeling of intrigues, awe and curious for what would have cause and pretty, young boy like him to take such a way to live his life and he cannot wait to find out more about his client.
So far, the answer to Billy's has started to clear. He seems he game from a good, perfect family.
I do love that part about Tom wearing his cap and feel twenty years younger.
Makes him look like not just a tired up, hardworking lawyer but a decent, normal man in his..thirties.
I love this chapter!

I think what you interpreted as "hiding his sexuality" was merely Tom finally refusing to listen in on other people's adventures. Maybe he's ready to start his own. :)
Aha, no: Frank cheats because he is in a bad marriage, not the other way around.
I think you got confused? Billy's family is no longer "good" and "perfect". You could re-read Chapter Three to get a better grasp of his current family situation.
