This is priceless: pebbles against the window and Georg foreseeing the future in his dream (nightmare, I'd say sighs ). This fat little dog hahahah Once again, funny moments and emotional turmoil are well balanced, making Tom a truly intriguing character whose actions match his age and attitude. He reminds me of a kitten jumping sideways and showing his claws to assert his courage which, obviously, is not taken seriously.
By agreeing with all Tom said, George got exactly what he longed for. I don't know if this smart move was done on purpose but it surely put him in charge of all the business. Poor Tom instead is still in his delusional mindset that makes him play with fire and think he won't be burnt.
Author's Response: I knew you'd feel all nostalgic and depressed about Georg's dream. Pity things never stay the same, huh? Luckily, this fic is set in a different time and Bill never grows a beard in it :P Tom as a kitten = too cute ^^ Oh no, Georg is not that calculating. He was just trying to keep Tom as a friend by agreeing to everything he said but it seems Tom can't stay just friends with Georg, not for long anyway ;) Thanks for your reviews! (PS. I love it! Your stories are never predictable and obvious; I knew there would be something different than a walk of shame or something but I didn't know what to expect and what happened is just perfect (I won't tell because I hate spoiling). Quote: “stick his fingers in his ears and loudly go, “La la la la la,” the whole time while Georg was speaking” haha I'm picturing the scene.
I read the chapter once; the morning after, massive hungover (at least for Tom) and what follows. I read it a second time and was hit by the power of feelings every action conveys, which are all summed up in the conversation between Tom and Billinda. That conversation (sweet and painful) made me see the core of the FF, which I think is well beyond a guy's crush on a boy and a boy exploring a new territory. To me, Billinda is exactly a girl; it just happens she has Bill's delicate features but she's not HIM, if you see what I mean. In spite of this, in spite of the fact that I hate a female messing with a slash relationship I can't hate her (miracles happen LOL) and I know why. It's because of this QUOTE “They don’t even belong on the same plane of existence. Bill is his soul mate - like the female version of Tom.” It's so heartwarming, so beautiful and perfect because it has nothing to do with Tom and Bill being twins in real life, right? This said, I can figure only one way not to hurt anybody's feelings....
Author's Response: Haha, talking about sex the day after is not always fun, especially if one them is hung over :P I'm glad you like Bill. It was never my intention for her to mess with the guys' relationship; she's just already in the picture as an innocent party in all this, not trying to break them up. Hell, she doesn't even know about them! Yeah, this story would be SO different if Bill was a boy and if he and Tom were twins in it. Everyone would be hating Georg then!! I guess I want to show how close Bill and Tom are in the fic, purely as friends. Guys and girls CAN be friends and Tom's guilt has more to do with not wanting to hurt or lose his best friend, rather than simply potentially losing a girlfriend. But of course, he is yet to realise this, or how much Georg is coming to mean to him. Thank you for the lovely review, my darling!

Sex scenes are difficult to write; it's very easy to slip into a detailed anatomy report that would be ok in a science or sociology treaty but surely not in a fic. In spite of what it seems, sex scenes can make a story boring but not when they're salted with humor and here there's plenty of it. The two big kids are so silly and sweet XD
I've a picture in my head of their faces when they wake up the next morning, and I'm not thinking about paleness and dark circles under their eyes as a result of a massive hangover.....

Author's Response: Yay, banner! I like Tom as a blond ^^ I know, I know...that is Tom's major flaw in this story - his total and utter denial of his own cheating. Eventually, he will realise what he's doing but not for a little while yet, which adds to the drama! I agree, sex or too much of it, can ruin a fic so I'm trying to keep a good balance going on here. Well, the next chapter is up so you can see the results of the morning after in gritty, humiliating detail LOL Thank you for your review!

Love is truly blind. Apart from the sight of Tom (who wouldn't ogle him?) Georg, who is neat and tidy, does notice he's stepped into a rat-hole; still, he seems to find everything quite cute. The place reeks but oh, that incense smells like heaven LOL The conversation that follows cracked me up; I doubt that Gustav's suggestion to talk to Tom and sort things out referred to the notorious hoodie. And yes, the poor 25-y-old definitely behaves like a kid with a massive crush (no work tomorrow?) haha
The awkward way to start a relationship is really funny but, in the surreal situation and dialogues, honest feelings are displayed too and we get to know another side of Tom, the one he probably would never show if if wasn't for his fancy cocktail.
Actually, all people know about the real Tom are some details he let out (true or not, who knows...) that never changed in time; they've become a sort of a stereotype and it would be easy to stick to them while describing him. On the contrary, as I probably said before, you created a very complex character here which is not easy to master; yet, you're doing an impressive job (not that I had a doubt about it). I think Billinda will be another interesting person whom I'm dying to meet :)
Author's Response: Yeah, Georg has never met anybody quite like Tom, that's for certain, and he is willing to forgive many flaws because of his feelings for the boy. G is definitely the more sensitive one here, or at least the one willing to show his sensitivity whereas Tom still remains guarded. Thank goodness for alcohol, huh? LOL Thank you for your kindness; I'm glad to be breaking stereotypes with my fic. It's fun to portray Tom like this, I gotta admit :) And I can't wait for you to meet Billinda so I will try to make her show up on the set soon!

Haha, it's like “Georg, you know what you've learnt so far about crushes, love etc? Well, forget it all and start from scratch!” And then self-confidence goes to hell, replaced by fear of being pathetic with a little bit of anxiety of looking as if you don't give a damn about the other person.
You captured the mixed feelings of a teenager at his first crush and, actually, that's what Georg is going through, even though he's 25. Plus, it's not just a brand new territory to explore; he has to do with a badass who, in Georg's hopelessly confused mind, surely knows more than he shows and might dismiss him as a nerd.... and then the debacle, which is the final blow to the poor guy. Oh my, I couldn't help giggling like a fool.
I'm sure that if Georg was not in that teenager crush-mood, he would have had a good laughter; he's 25 know and he should know things like that happen all the time. It could have happened to Tom as well, as far as he knows but no! He starts torturing himself to no end and, man, that damn hoodie and all its meanings. Bwahahaha, it's wonderful.
Btw, I love two details: the flowers (awww) and this “And all of this without one single word spoken. “ A good story speaks for itself, without too many explanations.

Author's Response: Yes, poor G has to learn all about love in a totally new and different way because badass Tom breaks all the rules here! Oh man, I screwed up big time here o.O Chapter one, yes; chapter three, yes and chapter two??? I think my different life if more of a mess than I thought and I haven't adjusted to it, yet :/ Ok, back to the chapter.
Haha, Tom acts like a spoiled brat who's got everything under control... except that he doesn't realize he's playing with fire. His challenge turns into something he probably didn't expect while Georg, already craving for Tom's attentions, is not taken aback. The description of a kiss is truly powerful because, in my opinion, is much more about the emotions a boy goes through than the kiss itself. Each one of the teen's feelings flows smoothly into the next; his thoughts and his body speak for him (again, I don't say much because it's interesting to read about it all). By Tom's final reaction, I can tell he's not much in control anymore: the roles are reversed but I still don't know if he's conscious of it.
What happens reveals another trait of his personality; his tough attitude is less real than he thinks; all in all, he's just a boy able to speak candidly about himself and I love his and Georg's exchanging words.
Then I wonder if one of the pair can control the new situation or none of them can....
Author's Response: Hey, thanks so much for your review on part 2! Yeah, you're right here - the kiss definitely reveals Tom's emotions and how he doesn't quite have a handle on them yet. He's all attitude at the moment but that will slowly start to change over time! rnBtw, I hate to point this out (and make you feel even more disorganised than usual) but I never got an official review for chapter 3 yet... *hides*
