I don't know how I missed this on my most recent list, I literally refresh the shit out of this page for new material to read, so I apologize for being late ^.^
First Chapter in and this definitely looks promising, I'm intrigued by this. I don't think I've read anything of this type of setting and situation before so it's really exciting for me to get my teeth into this. As I'm not American, at first I was a little confused by what you were referring to with ranches, etc and I was briefly wondering if it was set sometime in the past? But after finishing this Chapter, I managed to catch on with a lot more understanding. So I'm glad you were able to quickly clear up the confusion any of us may have felt when he began reading this Chapter.
I kinda fell in love with Tom a little, he seems so genuinely nice so far, yet he has that edge of authority that makes me weak at the knees? I think he'll be the one to keep Bill in line throughout this story, despite what we've seen so far of his rocky personality. Bill, I thought he was just a spoiled brat at first, but somehow I think I may have misunderstood him, maybe he's got issues or something? Whatever is wrong with him, it's gonna be interesting to watch his character develop throughout this story, I think. It's written beautifully and is also well detailed so I'm able to visualize scenes.
I'm shit at reviews so I apologize for this mess, but I hope you can see all the praise and love I'm throwing at you. Well done and keep going, this is so fucking good. I love it xo

I should have done more explaining. They are basically just acres of land owned by one person or company, and people or groups of people can come out for a vacation, or to learn about rural life and horses :)rnrnI'm happy to see that you are understanding the characters just as I wanted to interpret them :) I really feel like I have been able to give them characteristics and feelings beyond their real life counterparts :) They both have their own pasts and backstories that I hope will intrigue and surprise everyone throughout the course of the story :) Thank you so much for reading! Author's Response: I went through this phase when I was like thirteen where I really really liked cowboys lol So the idea of cowboy Tom really intrigues me too :D lol I'm glad I have people wondering already because I'm hoping to build lots of suspense, not just sexual tension, in this fic ^.^
