I was not expecting the ex bf thing so good twist. But I love the interaction and chemistry with Bill and Tom. Thumbs up on that. And of course I'm curious about what all Bill isn't telling Tom. And whatever, Tom is about as cool as a hot potato xD He wants back in Bill's and more importantly, his heart. And I'm interested to see how it happens ;)

I think if Bill weren't expressing any interest at all, then Tom could be content to just play it cool and sweep their past under the rug, but there's just too much flirtation and hinting at their past for either of them to just let it go. This story has been reminding me of the episode of Hannah Montana (no idea if you ever watched it) where Jake kisses Miley and then promptly leaves to go film a movie and just ditches her. Sidenote: the episode when he returns and tries to win her back is one of my favorites. I'm still waiting for a certain beloved lizard to pop up somewhere in here... And now that Georg's in this story, I really miss his character from Rough. The stoner guy with his lizard in his pocket just looking for a good time. I think I need a friend like that IRL. Can't wait for another update!
Author's Response: I think you hit the nail on the head. Bill is spurring him on a bit and I think that will make it impossible for Tom to let everything go. But you know it's gonna be complicated because that's how I roll. I never really watched that show other than a few episodes, but if you enjoy it and this story reminds you of it, then I shall take that as a compliment! Oh, and you know Larry has to pop up somewhere in here. I can't let the lizardy tradition die after I've come this far! I miss writing Rough in general, but especially Georg. Tom is absolutely affected by the whole thing, and he got hurt when Bill told him about his boyfriend. And oh... it was so painful when Tom saw him kissing the guy, I mean, really, it made me want to cry. I had to stop reading for a while, otherwise I would have cried, haha, I tend to be very emotional so I think I understand how Tom felt :(
And I understand too that he can't really stay away from Bill, even though he knows that in the long term he might get hurt again.
Anyway, I loved their flirting when they were eating pizza. Maybe Bill should drink more when he's with Tom, probably that way we'll get to see some action, since it seems like drinking is the only way they loosen up a bit.
Ok, enough of my rambling. Thank you so much for the update! ^^ Can't wait for the next chapter
Author's Response: He's definitely affected, but he's trying really hard to play it cool so that he doesn't push Bill away when he only just got him back. That's a total compliment to me that the part of the chapter where Bill was kissing the guy got to you like that! I like making my readers feel things. It's a complicated situation but I have high hopes for these two boys. And yeah, Bill should drink more if it makes him open up like that. Plus, I love the idea of a drunk, cozy and smiley Bill, haha.

I finally had some time to sit down and read this. It's one of those stories that I don't want to read in a rush or while being distracted by other things, so I've been saving this chapter until I had some time to just sit down with my laptop and a cup of tea and fully enjoy it, and honestly, it was worth the wait.
Tom's cleaning procedure reminds me of myself when I want to keep my mind of things. The only time I actually clean is when I don't want to think. You should have seen me when I had a huge argument with my dad about a year ago, I was blasting Tokio Hotel the whole day and my apartment had never been so cleaned before. Even my cats were confused because it all smelled of soap and stuff haha!
I think Tom's mum is so cute, worrying like that. When I moved out my mum wasn't even close to anything like that xD she was all like "that was about time" helped me find an apartment, drove my things up and dumped me there. But I think she worried more than she actually admitted, because she called often and even though I was over two hours with car away she came up to visit at least once a month, and she sent me some letters with money and stuff with a note "for the weekend" haha, so cute! I live closer to home now though, so she doesn't have to worry anymore, instead she comes over for coffee about twice a week ^^
(I feel like I always talk so much about myself in my reviews, but your character reminds me so much about myself sometimes that I can't help it)
Wait wait wait wait WAIT! Just hold on a moment, he said “Enough to kiss you every day.” AND THEN HE LEFT?! Biiiiiiiilllllllll! D: *sobs in corner* I feel so sorry for Tom, you have no idea. I really hope he (and uhm, your poor readers as well) will get to know what actually happened, because this is killing me!
I kind of feel like hanging out with Bill without getting to know the truth will be painful for our Tom, but at the same time I don't think he can stay away. He missed Bill, obviously, and now when he's back... well, who can blame him for being curious? And we all torture ourselves with being with people who hurts us sometime in our life, and sometimes it's worth it, sometimes not. I just hope it'll be worth it for Tom...
I really like this, it's such a good story and it's so amazing to get something new from you. Even though I wasn't here when you were active last time I'm still so in love with your writing style and Rough will forever be my favourite story of all time, so I'm so excited to be here and follow your journey and all, I'm such a huge fan of you, you have no idea!

I only really deeply clean when I need to keep my mind off of something, or if I'm supposed to be doing some sort of assignment that I want to avoid, haha. Best line ever, oh my God. "It was a tiny dick, but still a dick." But man! Why is the chapter over? I grabbed my computer screen and shook it when I read the last sentence. I'm feeling so angsty tonight, haha. Honestly though, I was so sucked into this chapter. The tension was so real and so strong, but in a fantastical way! Cannot wait for more~!
