This was a really great chapter, totally loved it. Their kiss at the end was amazing and perfect, made me melt. I'm so happy that they talked things through a bit and they both were able to keep it under control despite being drunk. Also liked Tom flirting with Miles tbh. Love this story and I'm so happy that you updated!! Will be patient for the next bit :)

Baby twins are sooo sweet, I can tell why Tom has such a thing for Bill. :) I like seeing Bill having the chance to take care of Tom a bit. I appreciate that Tom can call him even at 3 AM and Bill will come right over, that is absolutely true friendship. Or well, more-than-friendship as it is now. Anyway I really like how they’re falling back into a familiar pattern, it’s a nice contrast with all the new experiences they’re having, and it meshes very well. It was quite sweet to see Tom wake up next to Bill, it’s a nice detail that Bill didn’t try to wake him up, just climbed in bed with him. Although now that I think of it, he might have also done that to avoid certain things. I sure wish I had a Bill who was a phone call away whom I could wake up to. :P (Also Tom I totally would have watched him sleep too.)
Hmm Tom I see you enabling Bill. I hope he’s right about them waiting long enough and that they’re not rushing things. I’m not so sure after the note, and I hope Bill is okay. :( I think he’s just trying to protect them but I’m worried he’ll hurt Tom. Tom seems set on tackling this head-on but Bill seems set on avoiding it. I don’t know if either is the better solution so I hope they’ll figure it out before things get dramatic. But as you pointed out, it’s in the genres, so it probably will get dramatic anyway!

Anyway, I'm glad you like the familiarity of their relationship. I think it's taken them a little to remember the way it used to be and feel comfortable with just going with it. I really wish that I had a Bill to call, too! I wish we both had one of him and a Tom while we're at it, haha.

Oh gosh I cannot handle this story. Had to take a break or two from reading to cool down too haha. I really love Bill and Miles' relationship! It's very unique and also really healthy it seems like, which is nice. Plus I kinda like the idea of them just making out as it suits them but not really getting it on. I want to know, does Miles really enjoy kissing Bill/do they ever kiss just because, or is it purely for Bill to let off steam? Just curious, they have an interesting dynamic. :)
Tom has been taking this pretty well too. I mean, even if he's just starting to really get into it and learn what it means to handle Bill, I like how willing he is to try and how open he is to Bill's past.
Also I just want to compliment the pacing of this story, I'm glad you don't drag everything out. There's always a lot uncovered every chapter and I appreciate it. :)
Author's Response: That's the cutest thing that you had to take a break! I was grinning over your tweets the other day. I'll give you some insight into Bill and Miles, even though I'm still learning things about them as I go. Miles does enjoy kissing Bill, and Bill enjoys kissing Miles, but there isn't romantic attachment there. Like, they care about each other and they're physically attracted but that's the extent. I think that Bill never had actual feelings that weren't sexual for anyone besides Tom.

Okay I didn't see this coming at all. Like Tom, I thought he was a murderer or something. Well okay not that drastic. :P I feel for Bill not because I can really relate but because we're exact opposites, so I guess I can sympathize with being the other extreme. I'm wary about these secrets Bill has! I want to know obviously but I also hope he didn't have too rough a time of it. :( Miles seems like a real sweetheart so far, I don't think many people would stick it out with someone like that, he must really care for Bill. It will be interesting to see how Tom deals with this though, because obviously he didn't exactly see this coming when he ran into Bill again and he's going to college soon...so much conflict! Great chapter again!
Author's Response: I think that's really special that you can relate, because it's something that it's completely out of my realm. I went through the whole sex-crazed teenager phase, but I've always been fairly good at self-control. I tend to write about things that I have no experience with, because I think those are the things that fascinate me the most. Miles definitely does care for Bill, in a unique way. I don't even want to imagine where Bill would have ended up if he didn't have Miles around to help. I'm so glad you're continuing to enjoy! I love reading your reviews. :)
