Oh lord... I think I'm gonna pass out during the next chapter. Poor Bill, I hope the jury will make the right decision and Jorg will be put in jail... and I wish his other friends would end up there too, sick bastards ¬¬
Oh, by the way, I think it would have been interesting to let Tom to testify against Jorg, I mean, after all, he was the first one to see Bill's bruises and the first one to know that Bill was indeed being physically, emotionally and sexually abused.

Surely Jorg's lawyer can't have an arguement against that kind of evidence, especially not the DNA results. His sperm was found inside his stepson; how can he possibly argue his way out of that one? Poor Bill having to sit through all that, wondering what Tom and his parents will think of him. In reality I'm not so sure Bill would have had to actually face Jorg and give eveidence in front of everyone like that. In this country (England) he'd probably have been in another room with a video link or even have recorded his evidence in advance. But it certainly makes better fiction to have them in the same room. I'm scared now he'll be so intimidated he'll either go back on his allegations or he'll break right down on the witness stand. Oops, sorry for the long review, but I feel so invested in this story because you've made the characters so real.
Author's Response: I love long reviews! I absolutely understand what you mean about Bill having to face his abuser in court, and quite frankly, I didn't even think about that at first. Now I see that Bill probably wouldn't have had to testify against Jörg in the same room and all, but for the sake of the rest of the story, I think I will just have to let it be the way that it is.
