Oh god that was painful, but really well done. I hated how Bill was being treated from the start and kept think noo this isn't going to go well nomatter what happens. How could he do that after being friends for 16 years?? :( It's just so cold and sad.. aww, i'll be sure to read the sequel, coz otherwise this story this story will stay with me and haunt me.
Author's Response: Hiii c: c: I really wanted to the ending to this two-shot to be a little more believable and less cliche', so I'm sorry about the pain this has inflicted. And thank you, at first I didn't even think this would be as successful as it has been, it was such a huge shock to wake up to continuous reviews and praise. I honestly never expected it, but wow; I'm so happy with this now. At the start, the relationship between Tom and Bill had been on sexual grounds, no strings-attached type of thing, but Bill had been developing feelings for Tom over time, unbeknownst to him (he had Tom all to himself, he didn't feel as pushed aside). But his feelings began to come out when his jealousy had surfaced (Because Ria was constantly in the way of him and Tom, pushing them apart from each other). Sixteen years of friendship is such a huge deal, but I hope you're satisfied with the outcome when I begin posting the sequel. < 3 Thank you so much for reading and reviewing on this two-shot, it's really flattering. xxxxx

Some are more accurate than others though ;-) I can't reveal much, because the answer to why won't be revealed until mid-point in the sequel and I don't wanna give too much away right now, but keep thinking anyway.Okay, so the sequel; I've already picked out a title (it's quite similar to STAY THE NIGHT, I'm going with the song theme again and this one fits TOM's perspective really well). The banner has been created (I made it last night, it's nothing special, but I really wanted to try for myself). oh god this was amazing and it frustrated be me much that there's no real ending..i wanted to keep reading forever. i don't really knot how these reviews go but i found this was just the best thing i've read recently and i cant wait for the sequel if you decide to do it

I literally could've stretched this out into a multi-chaptered story, kept it going and going, but when I began to write this as it stands now, I never expected this much praise and love so I went with my original idea, and that was to write ONLY a two-shot. After the amazing feedback I've gotten for this two-shot though, I'm so tempted to write a prequel to this (so everybody would know HOW Bill and Tom began messing around with each other) as well as a sequel (so everybody would know HOW Bill and Tom are coping after this). Happy endings aren't all that simple and it would've been extremely unrealistic if Tom started to confess his undying love for Bill after finding out Bill's feelings. Love this story. What I kind off hope for is for Bill to become strong and let Tom hanging without even looking back. Tom running after him for his attention and not getting it.
