AH, this story is so crazy good! Poor Tom! I really love how you make this so believable with all the perfect little details like Tom's dog and the feel and smell of the lake. It's so easy to visualize and feel Tom's rightful freaking out, and I'm really worried about him, but Bill, dude, what are you doing?! I hope you can find the time to write more of this when you can.
