Finally, my head is working normally (if anything inside my head can be classed as normal) and I get to write you the review you deserve. Brilliant start to your sequel, and the fill-in stuff worked really well, so don't apologise for it. I absolutely love all the detail you put in, how you set the scene almost like painting a picture or showing us a photo album of snapshots of the twin's family life, their homes, their interactions with each other, Andrej, the kids. The little twins doing kiddie stuff, Andrej extending his 'mothering' skills and taking care of Bill, and it's just lovely that they've managed to work out a way of all living together but seperately. I'm so happy that Andy's still around, that he's as loyal as ever and has been there all those years for Bill. But...poor, sad Bill, although he has Tom and he's very much a part of Tom's and Andrej's little family, he's so alone in his perfect designer home, its like he's drifting through life with no purpose any more, just existing on the edge of his twin's happiness. He doesn't even really have Tom, does he, not when they have to be so very careful and keep the true nature of their relationship hidden. Do they ever get to go to a hotel and have alone time like Tom does with Andrej? I feel so sad for Bill. It's getting scary, the whole surveillance thing, and the possibility of Poppi being arrested. At least he's preparing the twins for that eventuality. You made it sound so sinister, wondering who's behind the dark glass of the surveillance vehicle. It was an amazing first chapter and I can't wait for the next one. Hopefully I'll been in better health and able to enjoy and review it as soon as it's posted since I've been so looking forward to this sequel. Hope you are in good health now and enjoying your holiday. Looking forward, as always, to reading more. Hugs, Helen x
Author's Response: I was soooo happy that you took the time to come back and write a review! And that you're feeling better! I really do hope that the first chapter set the scene seamlessly. I've got to have some more little "flashback" information in the next chapter, too. Probably more than that, as other people fold in. Yes, Tom/Bill/Andrej have managed to blend their lives together without too much distress. Not sure how realistic that is, but it certainly isn't a perfect situation. Andrej still isn't happy that Tom and Bill have sex, and Andrej and Bill, although they're close and they care for each other, certainly don't LIKE each other a whole hell of a lot. There's going to be quite a bit going on, so let me know if anything needs smoothing out!! As for the man behind the dark windows....there's some conjecturing going on. Hope you're over the nasties and you're getting some warmer weather there :)

Yay!!!
Though, I have to say that I'm disappointed about the Andrej/Tom switch-slave tease... I can only assume you'll make it up to us later. ;)
Author's Response: I, MIZU, PROMISE TO MAKE IT UP TO YOU IN FUTURE CHAPTERS.

Yay! My little heart skipped a beat when I saw that the sequel was posted. This was a perfect first chapter. I feel like you skipped just enough time and the characters all still seem... well like themselves and very believable. Poor Bill, he's just seems so jaded and kind of bored and a bored Bill can be a reckless Bill. I'm liking the dynamic that he has with Andrej now too. Tom still seems to have it all, two live-in lovers (practically), two babies, and all the love a man could ever want. I can't wait to see where this part of the journey will take us, already the tone of this chapter seems so much heavier than KL, as it should since they are grown men now.
Author's Response: Perfect chapter? Score! Minibar likes it, that means it's good and I am haaapppyyy! I worried that five years would seem like such a huge gap. I don't want to spend too much time having to back-fill the missing years, so some of it's going to be gray on purpose. They're older now, finished with college, and starting on adult (mafia!) lives. You're right that Bill is jaded and bored, which is not the healthiest state of mind for him. We'll see just what kind of trouble he gets into... I'm wondering when Tom is going to be overwhelmed by having to TAKE CARE of everyone! And I'm so happy you noticed the heavier tone - Bill's little depressed attitude is going to bring everyone down a little, plus having the feds on their asses, and Tom...yes, I think he is just slightly over his head with all this. I'm very excited about this one, and I'm thrilled you're here!

hey. me again. i was just scrolling by and i saw bushido listed in the characters. so as much as i don't care for bushido, i want bill to be happy. so i'm gonna take a guess that bushido is the "mystery" man who bill hasn't seen yet and they'll end up together.
yeah. just wanted to stop by again and leave that comment. i'll go now. lol
Author's Response: Ahhh Bushido...yes, he's going to sneak into the story, I think. Not quite sure how or when or what's going to happen (sigh...no wonder my stories tend to ramble on and on and on... I never know where they're going!). So...Bill might just get his heart broken all over again!

Thank God, you're back!
I am very impressed with Andrej, so mature.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm thrilled to be here! And Andrej, mature and all grown up! Although, I still can't believe he'd stay with Tom, a guy who screws his twin brother all the time. But I also know people will stay in relationships for a lot of wrong reasons, so who am I to judge!

Yeah, sequel! It makes me sad that Bill is so sad. I hope he'll find his happiness.
Author's Response: I hope Bill gets some happy, too! But sometimes life doesn't work that way....guess we'll see!

GROWN UP TWINS. Or, well, I guess they're not considered adults in your book yet :P I'm very very excited by this. And I could hear your voice coming through when you talked about the houses and the decorating :P I could go on and on, as I'm often wont to do, but I'll just tell you that so far everything is 100% perfect in my book. It just needs Raf! :P I'm also incredibly honored to be a co-dedicatee. You flatter me.
Author's Response: Aaahhh the houses and the decorating...But you know, I seem to have a proclivity to make single gay characters have midcentury modern style decorating. Not terribly inventive. And you will get your Raf, don't fret. You're definitely right that a 22 yr old hasn't quite made it to adult status, no siree. And of course I flatter you, I adore you.

The story continues. Great to have you back. I feel sorry for Bill, but is glad that he has a good frienship with Andi. Tom tries to please both his lovers. I love the little twins, I look forward to hearing more about them. As always you write wonderful, I can not wait till the next chapter.
Author's Response: I kind of feel sorry for Bill, too. Yes, he's surrounded by people who take care of him, including Andy (Andi/Andy - I just use a y because it's set in the states :) I'm so glad you're liking the twins! sometimes kids can be a little difficult to write. Thank you for taking the time to write, see you in chapter 2!
