Side note, when I was little, one of the ghost stories ppl used to tell was about a girl who wore a ribbon around her neck always. Then end of the story is someone taking the ribbon off and her head falls off. I couldn't help but think of that as I read the last part of the chapter.

It's so sad that Bill was never touched as he grew up. No hugs, no comforting pats on the back...those things are often taken for granted but when someone grabs you and gives you a great big hug, it makes you just want to cry from feeling so cared for. I'm glad Tom wants to fix that now. They're such a sweet little couple. I'm worried by those words from Mateo. I wonder if there's a rebellion or something in the works...so interesting! Update soon :)

A very interseting idea for a story. Is Bill supposed ot be much younger than Tom? Bill's certainty that he wants and needs Tom so much reminds me a bit of the fic you did called A Captive Love (which was also amazing!).
