I felt so bad for Bill in this story. It must be so hard to have to fight to retain even a little of yourself when the press is always breathing down your neck. I think we all have a special place that we go when we need it and you portrayed Bill's very well. It made me so sad to think of him like that but I'm glad Tom was there to make him feel better. :)

That was beautiful. You described the feelings very well, and I had the image of Bill curled up in his bed with flashes of lightning in my head. I wonder why Bill did shave his head - if it means something to him or if he just felt like it. It could go either way, really, but I know that I change my hair or look drastically for personal reasons rather than on a whim.
Also, it just stormed where I am last night so it my mental images were extra fresh ;)
