I seriously consider reading this installment when it's complete because the waiting for the next update is going to kill me! It's so good, I just want to read and read. :)
To be honest I missed Bill here. I like the tension between them too much I guess so I definitely can't wait for the Tom/Bill action you mentioned ;)
And what surprised me.... Tom acknowledged Bill as his boyfriend! Wow. I guess the therapy is really helping :D. Can't wait to see Bill's reaction when Tom tells him about the homicidal fairies. This could be fun, he is quite protective of his human, isn't he?
And what did the old lady say? Why? O.O. It was so creepy.

My favorite line was Tom aknowledging BIll as 'his boyfriend'. Great action coming but cant wait to see Bill/Tom intraction again in the next chapter.

Uh oh...Bill isn't going to be pleased. I really missed Bill in this chapter since he's my favorite character so I'm excited for the next one. Tom's life is just so interesting though, and I'm wondering what Kay was babbling on about, especially about "he's coming back" or whatever she was saying. I could scroll up, but...that's a lot of work haha. I'll just reread it later :)

Author's Response: I'm pleased you could still be into this chapter even though it was filled entirely by Tom and his daily life. Sometimes I have to leave Bill out for the sake of the plot but I know everyone would rather read scenes that he's in. Don't worry that's coming up next. And so is what Kay was rambling on about.

I'm what you would consider by your profile the so damn hated "lurkers", what means I read a lot of fic (trust me, whole tom/bill archive covered) but very rarely I leave a review. BUt I barely mark any as a favorite so people don't notice how much I DONT review....I suck, I know.
Anyway, I notived how much you like reviews but most of all how much you fucking deserve it, really. I just finished reading sense of touch two days ago and I can't stop playig with the characters in my mind....you have wrote your characters realistically enough so that I can create mini plots in my mind lol.
I just submitted a request to feature Sense of Touch, my first ever request to do so (in six year or so). Normally the fics I trully love end being featured so you can say I trust and agree with most of other members' judging and that made me lazy.
I wen't back to read your other fics (working still in pomme de sangue series) and I think I can notice a patter in the characters romantic relationship dynamics (even with girlybill) that makes me savour every line: an endearing cynism in main romantic pair and always a apparently surrender of the main character, as a denial of any feelings when really, they're there already.
....I guess I'm glad I don't review a lot of fics after all lol, I love writing (ironicaly) and I wouldn't shut up. Anyways, english is not my forte, sorry for the obvious mistakes.
AND PLEASE UPDATE SOON, Seriously.
And I can't wait to see Tom aknwoledge his feelings for Bill but I know that will entail a stronger undertstanding of his own problems and why he has them, that boy clearly had self-aknowledge and control issues. Still, my day is better anytime you incude an intimate moment between Tom and Bill, I can't deny I hang on every word you right when they're together...and damn, THAT sexual tension is strong o.O
Please, pretty please update soon.
ps: And I hope this poor incubus boy won't throw himself to Tom or Bill AND succeed....the only trying part can be funny to either one of them, I love when they're jealous.

Tom is going to acknowledge a lot more about himself and his feelings in this installment, and he'll be getting a lot closer to Bill as well. So you can definately look forward to that. Oh, Tom, you are so conflicted. Doc was right, though. It probably is all about the control and not even that Bill is a vampire. Tom seems to be so much more critical of Bill than anyone else and blatantly ignores any and all of Bill's good qualities, choosing to focus solely on the negative ones. And Bill doesn't help the issue by constantly being dominating and never letting Tom feel like he has any say in anything. Perhaps Bill needs to give up a little control and let Tom be a little dominant...I vote it starts in the bedroom...hehe
Author's Response: Good suggestion... hm. Haha, but all joking aside, you're right. Tom HATES being out of control. That's why it is such a struggle for him to be involved with Bill, in any way.

Ooh, lovely. I'm glad it is pretty much starting up right where we left off. Sometimes it makes me sad when all the good relationship-building gets skipped in favor of a long and drawn out happily ever after. I am guilty of it myself I suppose, but it takes a lot of dedication and skill to take readers through the grit and have us eating it up all the shile. Yay! Though I do admit I am very much excited for the possibility of sex. :)
Author's Response: Oh I could never leave out such a huge and important chunk of this story! It's good you're on the same page and don't find the pace monotonous. I did skip several months in time. But given that Tom is so recalcitrant in everything, if I ever wanted to include sex in this fic, a bit of time had to be jumped over. If you're excited for sex, btw, then you'll be very happy come chapter... oh I don't know, four?

You totally made my day, posting a sequel to your fabulously-written first installment. Once again, this story does not disappoint. It's strong writing from the start, really establishing Tom and the other characters, familiar and new. I liked the glimpse of Tom's first meeting with Bill, and the way it swirled and broke back into the present was very trippy and dreamlike. And the date...it was such quintessential Tom and Bill as you've established them for this universe. It started out surprisingly promising, which lulled me into a false sense of complacency. I should have known nothing is ever so easy or the two of them! And it really wasn't. I was, however, delighted to see Bill's genuine apology paving the way for the two of them to have further sparring and sexual tension in the upcoming chapters. Really looking forward to more of this story, and this is going straight to my favorites so I know when there's an update!

I'm so happy to see that you're here with the sequel. I reread Sense of Touch two or three weeks ago, so the timing is perfect.
I'm so glad to see that their relationship is still pretty much the same as where you left the story last time. I just love how they act like little children around each other and how stubborn they can be. Tom really needs to learn accept who he is, he makes his life so hard.
It's nice to see how they met and to see more of the past. I hope to see more of how their relationship before what happened to Tom.

So yeah, the story has skipped ahead about three months, but Tom is a hesitant partner in any relationship, so I didn't want to be unrealistic and have them banging the frist two setences into chaper one. Hmmm... maybe chapter four... rnrnI agree. Tom makes everything hard. He holds himself back in so many ways. I'm glad you liked the falshback in the dream. I will try to reveal more scenes like that in this installment. Oh, and after this sequel if finished, I might do a cookie or two that delves into Tom and Bill's past. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
