This fic is so incredibly bittersweet, and I think there is a lot of truth in it. One of the best portraits of TH i have ever read. Georg is so steady, so reliable, and I think he has been a great support to the other boys through the years. He is their middle ground, who understands Gustavs introversion and at the same time accepts Bills wonderful weirdness and Toms insecureties. I think all four boys/men are interesting characters, and the dynamic between them is so crucial to the band. They need everythink from Bills amazing skills at stunning the audience to the Gs patience and long term commitment.

I really loved this fic. :)

Author's Response: Thank you for your lovely detailed review! I'm glad you enjoyed the fic - it was very interesting to write. I tried to work with my views of the boys as they are, rather as characters in a story, where they're all moving and balancing each other out.

as sad as it makes me to read this (just knowing that our little TH boys have now become grown men) it's kind of a bittersweet farewell, but also a cautious hello to the future: sure the boys aren't in the same country and they have developed outside of the band- but they are still together, they are STILL tokio hotel :-) maybe i'm not making sense, but this story was just a nice breath of fresh air and a bit of reassurance...Tom, says that they're huge fans of Aerosmith, so maybe we'll see that one day- the boys have their own lives and everyone has grown up/aged but they're still a band

Author's Response: I think people forget that the boys have grown up - they are men now, with families of their own, and girlfriends, and different looks and feelings. They're not gone, but they're different, and maybe some people don't like that. rnrnThey're very clear that they're Tokio Hotel - ten years together is a long time! Almost half their lives, so I don't think that they'll get rid of it anytime soon. rnrnI like your words though, "A bittersweet farewell, but a cautious hallo to the future." Very true. rnrnThank you for your lovely and thoughtful review!
