I'm such a dumbass, I thought I'd left a review here and of course I hadn't... Of course. Anyway, this was once again very beautifully done and did justice to the universe you've created. I'm glad there was doubt and fear in Bill even after so long, and I'm glad Tom was there to comfort him, and how he used the right words :'))) He didn't lie and try to sugarcoat reality for Bill. You also described the whole recovery process very neatly and realistically, the way he bought and cut and cooked his own food, how he ate stoically and his relationship with himself in general. I really liked the ending even if I wanted more of it - I'm not even sure what 'more' would mean in this case because this is as real as it gets and any other kind of happy-kittens-and-rainbows ending wouldn't be fitting. I'm sad it's done, I guess :( It's always such a pleasure to read something of yours. You have a way with words and I'm always finding myself browsing through your stuff whenever I feel like reading something. Thank you for finishing this and thank you for writing, in general ♥

This has been such a lovely, tender, sometimes painful and sometimes so hopeful journey. It was comforting to see Bill recovering slowly, step ny step, and you indeed gave lot of hope in the end. I'm really happy that you chose to write it slow and not easy. Recoveries rarely are. Most people make the mistake of eother fast recovery or full relapse, but not the time between when you're balancing on the edge. And in a way this whole pattern fits in any other recovering there is.
Lovely joyrney, thank you! :)

My gosh... That was just... I saw this in Recents and immediately reread the previous installments to get the full effect. And... wow. I'm, I'm actually lightly crying right now because it's so incredibly moving. They're tears of joy, though :')

I read it as a stand-alone, didn't know it was part of a trilogy. This is beautiful.
