Oh, now this was NICE! Really really nice! I loved how you wrote both Tom and Bushido in this. It doesn't have the feel of a oneshot, but it clearly feels like the start of a longer story. Tom's home-life... his friends... our first meeting of Bushido... All these little details you've put in so cleverly has all the potentials for a longer story. It stands beautiful as it is, but damn... I would kill to read more of this. What a brilliant little story! Love the pairing, love what you don'e with it and want more, oh HELL yes!

Nah, you don't need to start changing your plansd because of me. As you know, I'm just as much (and more!( into Tom/Bill anyway :D. Just do what feels right for you and the story. These stories are never under our control, they live their own live. Whatever you have in mind, I'm sure I'll like it anyway. :).

I liked this, I truly liked this! Okay, you got me wi9th virgin!Tom straight from the start, but I must say that the setting and building up this universe, Tom's world, was one of the best ones in a long time. Everything flowed smoothly and was realistic, "fit in" somehow. A pleasure to read.
I really like Tom (and this world) and I'd love to get more! Tomshido is my guilty pleasure anyway. :)
Author's Response: I have to say I've been waiting for you! I had sent you a review once a while ago that it was YOU who inspired me to write a Tomshido (Delusions of Narcissus). This Tom I had planned to write a full length story on Tom (juvie delinquent) and Bill (juvie probation officer), but when Missy P asked me to do a one-shot of Tom/Bu with Tom as a virgin, it sounded like a great prologue to that story. But if you want more Tomshido in this story, perhaps before I move it along to Bill/Tom, I can put out a continuing one-shot of this one... You're one of the best writers on the site, and anything I can do that will encourage you to stay and read/write/be involved, I would love to do! Thank you so much for your review!

Author's Response: Why thank you! I'm so glad you gave it a chance. I had a hard time with Tomshido until I read one of Amdee's stories. Then, the idea spurred me on to Delusions of Narcissus. I'm thrilled to know you liked it. This one, once Karmic lessons is done, will be a Bill/Tom story. thanks for writing!

Author's Response: Oh, you want more little gangsta Tom?? Have you read Leichenwasser's masterpiece, Cupid's Chokehold? It's not finished, but it's still long as hell and one of the best, funniest stories on here. I haven't done any other oneshots, but I'm thinking of starting. This one is a prelude to a longer story, but that'll be waiting til after Karmic Lessons. Thanks for reading/reviewing!

There will be a longer story from this one, though. but it's going to be this punk Tom and BILL!! I haven't done a true Bill/Tom yet (it'll be nonrelated though). so I'm excited. thanks for writing!

I definitely freaked in a good way when you said he lived in encinitas because I'm from San Diego and I live near encinitas and I have cousins that live there as well. So I go visit them, its sad I haven't caught a glimpse of Tom yet tagging the streets ;)
How do you come up with these places that your characters should live in?
By the way I enjoyed the story a lot.
Author's Response: Hi there, Judith! Thanks for your sweet little review! I'm glad you asked about how I pick places, I don't get questioned very often about how/why I write, so I'm all giggly. Okay...I just try to picture the best kind of place for the characters to be. SoCal is easy, lived in Anaheim, been to SD a gazzillion times. The place just has to match. So I looked at a map of SoCal and saw Encinitas and know that so many places in beautiful, sunny southern California are dumps. I kinda needed a dumpy place for Tom to be in. But small towns are harder for me because they skeeve me out. Anyway, was just looking at google pics at work and decided that was the place. Settings back east aren't as easy, I have to really research because I've only passed through a few times. Never even lived in snow. So yeah, I scramble til something feels right. anyway, I'm so glad you liked it, this one was different for me. Thanks for letting me know you're there!!

Love, love, love, love... Can I say it enough? You had me laughing out loud at several points during this. I went through great lengths in order to be able to read this: my friend had to download it to her computer, save it to a USB drive, and then load it onto my computer because she has internet access here and I don't :( Anyways, I was totally shocked and amazed to see that you had come out with a new story (even if it's just one chapter) but I think it goes without saying that I appreciate any new story from you and would definitely love to see more of this.
