I know you said you'd try and make it clear who were the angels and who were the demons, and you've done that, but why do I have the niggling feeling that the 'good guys' are bad and the 'bad guys' are good? Or at least not beyond redemption...
fantasticc chapter. You can definitely tell Billks confused about his feeling for Tom, running away, and then hoping he hadn't left to give him a lift back... but you know...instead of laying and crying in the rain he could've looked for the nursery to make a phone call. He could've gotten directions from one of the ladiess with kids. One of them mightve even offered him a lift if he looked pathetic enough..
Great work! I can't wait to see more!

Oh Bill....watch out! I have no doubts that Jost will protect you but bare in mind they both have their own agenda if I remember the stories of the chosen prophets well enough. It is you that will have to make the decisions and sacrifice. Nither can choose for you but they will try to persuade you to do what they want. Jost will hopefully just become a guide for you but Tom is...well....he won't hurt you....yet.
Author's Response: All prophets have their own agendas, you're very right. Bill is definitely going to have to make up his own mind fairly soon, no matter what everybody else says, and yes. Tom won't hurt him...yet :p I'm really happy that you seem to understand what I'm trying to go for here, so thank you so much!

Hah! Just as I predicted - the different sides of the same coin, right? I'm really enjying when you take this story on deeper4 religious levels, no matter what teligion. It takes the strory somehow deeper, even if only in us. I can't exactluy explain it, but I think religious themes take us deeper in ourselves and that's always worth visiting. I want to learn more of Tom now. :)
Author's Response: Definitely different sides of the same coin (which wonderful description I'm going to purloin, I hope you don't mind!). I think the religion was slightly neglected in the last chapter or so and I definitely think it adds something; I think I know what you mean about religious themes taking us deeper inside ourselves, because I feel that any time you look at/read about religion, anything that's said either conflicts or confirms a personally held belief and I'm of the school of thought that likes to constantly question those beliefs. If that makes sense! Tom will become more illuminated soon, I think :)

I had to check out The Strid and yep, I can imagine it. I didn't expect the ending at all! Tom's character is definitely fascinating and I think the next chapter will reveal us so much (and if I was right about him).
Author's Response: The Strid is actually terrifying, it was like the first place I was ever properly scared of. I try and keep up unexpectedness (that's a word, right?) in chapters, I feel like it makes people happy :) The next chapter is certainly designed to reveal a couple more things, so I hope it works out for you!

Ouch, very nasty situation, but I'm glad to see Georg saving it. There's lot of tension in the air in this chapter and much like Bill, I feel both fascinated and terrified of Tom. Interesting and well written. I have my guesses about him, but we'll see if I'm right. :)
Author's Response: I have always liked Georg as somebody who rescues difficult situations, I feel like it fits him somehow :) I could, of course, be hideously wrong but never mind. Tom is certainly meant to be kind of intriguingly creepy at this point, so I'm glad that came across! Author's Response: All characters should have secrets :p Bill and Tom certainly have their differences! This isn't going to be a hugely long fic, in all honesty, so you are definitely right in saying that things are going to heat up soon :)

Wow, this was very interesting! And well written!
I rarely read high school fics these days, but the topic was interesting and since I haven't had a chance to read this before, I wanted to give this a try. You didn't disapoint my high expectation. Even if I'm not religious person myself, I find religioius (or close to) themes interesting in fics and stigmata is something very original. I have a feeling that this'll be interesting. :)
Now off to the next chapter!
Author's Response: I know what you mean about high school fics, there is a lot of very similar stuff out there that gets kind of dull. I'm doing my best to stop writing the stupid things but this one sort of needed the setting...

This sort of puts a new perspective on that girl that Tom supposedly dated for so long. Not sure if her offputting spazzness is just natural or a result of his influence.

Why thank you :) I quite like writing "wondrous strange," as you put it (excellent description, btw, may have to steal that at some point), it makes one feel as though one's humdrum life is not so bad after all :)
As for Natalie the psycho-girl, she is both a total freak and also probably influenced by our dear Tom. More on her later, methinks :)

Author's Response: Oh, certainly. I sort of backed myself into a corner with that one, huh :p But no, to be honest, there wasn't a lot more "Ooh, Tom, why are you so mysterious???" left in this particular fic before it got dull, so I kind of took a chance. Hopefully it will work!
