I'm assuming that specialty cookies made for dogs don't have all the bad and yummy fats that people-cookies do. Poor dogs. That's the best part of the cookie. That and chocolate, which is also a no-no. No wonder dogs look so sad when we're eating our treats. ;_; xD

Aaww so adorable :) Haha I loved the part where Bill sees Tom, then Bill and Gustav all transformed into cookies and candy, and also where Bill licks and takes a bite out of gingerbread Tom, only to realize that he had fallen asleep!
And Tom's answer to Bill when he says he's lonely:
“Tom, I’m lonely.”
The arms around him squeezed as Tom looked down at him. “I’m right here.”
Bill shook his head. “I mean, I’m lonely. I want someone to hug and kiss.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah.”
“I’m still right here.”
It was sweet and subtle at the same time (if I would want to admit something as hard to confess as "you want to kiss your twin", I think I would do it like that too!)

Funny story. Bill was so freaked out. Wow didn't know cookies could give dogs pancreaitis. I'm absolutely sure my dogs had more cookies and cakes for this holiday season than I did and the didn't seem to have any aches at all >.< They sure eat alot. And it's hard to deny them and even harder to scold them when they give you the look >.

I know mine begs for scraps of EVERYTHING, and I give her bits of cookie and she's fine! But, the richer ones apparently can make them really sick, just like fatty meats like ham or turkey. I just learned that this Christmas! I guess that's why dog-cookie recipes don't have all the butter and fats that people-cookies do. Come to think of it, maybe I should be eating those, too! xD I'm glad your babies are okay! Yes, I know exactly what you mean about the look. When they break out those big, sad eyes and swear up and down they haven't had *anything* to eat for *weeks*, it's so hard to resist! :x
