Since it's for a competition(?) or something I just thought I would mention:

You might want to change that,"she was going to get to go to class with Tom," since she was not going to go to class with Tom

That is probably going to be in a sentence?

Did h bring that? Did he think that he would be spending the night?
As i said/wrote i LOVE this story, and it was just something that came to mind while reading it. Not saying you have to change it, but I just thought since your going to turn it in, it might be helpful :)
