An immensely interesting and powerful opening to an intriguing story. I am really glad that after a long time a twc-related subject has appeared in a story like this.
I feel for them both but especially Tom because a brother's love turning over night to hate must be a devastating experience. As for Bill - it's amazing how powerful and wicked mechanisms of denial, shame and guilt can be.

I find it sad of how stubbornly they try to fight what has been obvious between them for such a long time. So often the frustration, fear and hurt turn to anger - so much unnercessary between them. Simone is a wise womanm, she sees that smt is wrong, but knows better not to intervene too much.
Perhaps the picture wake them both up in some way?

I really like it that you're not making the acceptance of their love easy for them. It shouldn't and it can't be: being in love with your twin brother. Of course theyu struggöe, of course they feel all kind of emotions and are in loss.
