Oooh yay! Bill came in very quickly! *flutter clap* but yea... shop owner lady was very weird. Where did she go? And just happen to magically show back up after Tom completed reading the 'super scary forbidden poem of doom,' which is of course how I will forever refer to it.
I am curious, did the table just appear behind him, like fate/kismet/serendipity, or was Tom just so wrapped up in the awesomness of the posters he didn't notice it?
This is an amazing beginning. And that is a truly spectacular banner, Bill looks so much better there than the caricature of Samantha. I can't wait for the next update! Keep up the fabulous work!
Author's Response: Yes, Bill showed up fairly quickly, and yes, the shop owner is very odd. She wandered off into her storeroom-we'll get into that in a few chapters I do believe. I'll let you in on a secret- she could hear him the entire time. As for your curiosity, Tom will maintain that the table magically appeared behind him, but like most people, he just wasn't paying attention. I am so super pleased that you liked the beginning, and I did happen to share with Lizard, the banner maker what you said. That made her one happy girl, jsyk. :) Luckily for you, I didn't make you wait very long for an update either- Chapter Two is up! Hahaha XD poor Tom, I would have a heart attack if I started driving and all of a sudden a stranger says "Hello" from the backseat! I hope it's Bill :) So I guess Bill is the witch that Tom called unintentionally and which the lady didn't want? I wonder what's going to happen next!
