If they hadn't hugged, I was going to have to resort to drastic measures and push my hand through the screen and tied a rubber band around them so that they were nothing BUT close again, because I knew that's what they needed!
This whole ending was PERFECT! I just hope once Bill leaves (IF he leaves??), that they at least keep in touch and Tom even goes to visit him often, or even move with him to Paris! Which would be tons better, because Tom doesn't really care where he lives as long as Bill's there.
Bill is his home.
Also, I hope things turn out okay with your mom's surgery and you have an amazing start to your second year!!!

I was so happy to see they were together for their birthday. This was such a bittersweet story and hopefully Tom will go back with Bill so they can stay together. Anyway, that's how my brain is going to see this story end. I loved this. :)

I loved this. Tom's reaction when he first saw Bill at the door was so well written. I could totally feel his resentment, and loneliness, and desperation.
And Bill, oh Bill, the way he just hugged Tom and the fact that that little gesture was enough to wash it all away, was so heartfelt. So brotherly, so twin-ly, I don't even know. It a language that is only theirs.

Awww, such a sad start! Thids is one of my worest nightmares, tbh, and I don't want to liver to see this day coming. They belong together - come hell or high water. Cleverly reflected his loneliness and the sadness of this all to his dogs.... Bill's dogs.

Author's Response: I'm glad the sadness I wanted into this story was reflected well through Tom, that was really one of my main goals. As for the rest, eh, I'm kind of so tired and done with fandom drama so it doesn't surprise me when people are still having me blocked from things in the past. I'm used to it, and really, I'm just here for writing and enjoying reading fiction now, so no hard feelings. I'm here to enjoy fandom as a whole, not nitpick little elements or other members of fandom. That makes it not fun, and that's not my style :)
