I translated the Russian at the end of the last chapter after I had written a review, so I couldn't tell you how much that last sentence moved me! Bill will save him...How perfect! Anyway, you have inspired me to also write something quite dark and paranormal. A little like this, but a one-shot, and...Well, it's a lot different but you'll see the similarities as well, I think! So, I hope you read it when it's uploaded. I plan on titling it 'Unendlichkeit.'
Anyway, I really loved this chapter. Again you really portrayed Jorg well...Damn, he's such a bastard! I don't know how you could abuse someone so sweet and kind as Tom! And Bill, wow, he is so beautiful. A beautiful murderer, I guess...I also want to know what Georg looked like when he died!
Can't wait for the next chapter! I love how quickly you update! Perfect!

I was reading this, and became pretty sure that I had seen this movie. And then suddenly it dawned on me - the little girl living with her "father" and then the "lost" boy. Ahh... I like your story so far, I am really looking forward to seeing how far away from the original plot you are taking this. I hope you do, otherwise I know the ending ;)
Author's Response: Yep! Only, Bill (who would be the Elias character) doesn't have Hakan in my version. He's a little more independent than the original. d: The ending will be different, promise.

I watched the film "Let Me In" (based on Let the Right One In), and really loved it, so I'll probably love this too :) Especially since it's so well articulated.
Author's Response: Being a die-hard LTROI fan, LMI let me down (Different strokes for different folks!) but only because I like the overall feeling of the original better. It was creepier to me. I really hope you do come to love my story! :3

Yesssss I want to hug this chapter. Your Tom is so amazing! And by amazing I mean flawed and relatable, so more not-amazing in an amazing way. He's so sweet and demure and maybe let's himself get kicked around too much and I just want to be his friend for him, but that's why Bill is around right? Intense, mysterious Bill, who just wants someone to hold. I guess what Bill and Tom want - or need - from each other is the exact same thing, it just might take Tom some time to realize it. Or maybe he's starting to realize it. At any rate, I feel like this is only the beginning, and can't wait to see where you take it from here!

Ooooh Bill ♥ He's so frank and Tom's so awkward and it's wonderful. Also I liked your use of "contrasted" to describe Bill, it was wonderful. *-* I just really really enjoy your writing, actually, will be reccing this story a lot!

I'm intrigued! I don't usually go for darker stories - at least, not late at night - but you promised fluff, so here I am. (Not that I wouldn't read it without fluff, of course!) The banner and summary caught my eye and I was not let down by the chapter itself. Very well written, if a bit short, but you update quickly so I really can't complain. :))
I really enjoy Tom's characterization so far. There's something very unique about him that I can't put into words, but it's there. Maybe it's just your style as an author, since every author has their own personality and experiences which color their characters. The outcast archetype has been done to death, so reading a new author's take on it is refreshing.
As someone who isn't very interested in vampires, I know nothing about Let The Right One In and have no clue what direction this will go, so I'm very curious! Onto the next chapter :)
Author's Response: Thank you very much! It's great to see that people who don't even like vampires have clicked and read. Truth be told, most vampire novels make me want to claw my face off, but there is a special spot in me that craves a good vampire book. LTROI is definitely a must!

hi. lurker here. not a huge fan of vampire stories, and i'm not even sure what made me click on this one. i'm enjoying it more and more though with each chapter. it's very well written, from the angst of tom's life to your description of bill's nails. anyhoo, you've drawn me in to a vampire story and i look forward to more.

I felt so bad for Tom, but I'm guessing maybe Bill needed to feed and he clearly didn't want to attack Tom? But awwww, coming to his room, needing to have Tom's permission to enter and then crawling into bed with him... my heart is melting and I need to know what that means at the end there.
