Okay, I loved it, but this almost seemed too easy, seeing as its fic, it kinda works, but if this were a movie I'ds totally be throwing my popcorn at the screen.Does that make any sense?
I love Geo being all flustered at having to take over for Tom so unexpectedly, and Gustav being called in to help him with the cases, even though we didn't really get to see him (yet??)And Tom ordering Vanessa home and to have take out and stuff was a really nice touch, after the whole giving her 3-6 seconds to get everything noted and written down as to what she had to do.
I kid you not, I nearly had a heart attack when Tom saw the piled up newspapers outside their apartment door. I was so worried Bill had, I dunno, decided to have a 'fun' 'night' with Andi, or something stupid and was laying in there passed out or dead. Thank goodness you dispersed that anxiety fairly quickly.
New York, huh. Y'know, I know I mentioned it before, and I'm sure everyone else has too....but this just doesn't seem quite right, to be moving there for Tom, when they just got back together, and Bill's never even been to visit Tom on his own time or anything... I really look forward to seeing how this plays out.
And I love Nat just barging in the room like that. And her wanting a girl roomate next time.
Keep up the amazing work. I can't wait to see the next installment!
Author's Response: yeah, gustav's not really a major player in this one. he appeared briefly in an earlier chapter, and he appears, briefly again, in a later chapter. but that's it for gus. and i don't consider bill and tom to have just gotten back together cuz they never really broke up. i don't think so anyway. there was a fight, yes. and bill just sorta...got a little over dramatic. but hell, even he knew tom would come and find him. and i really liked the idea of natalie barging in on them, so i'm glad you liked it too. thanks for reading!

This chapter was a little bit like 'A Christmas Carol' where Tom suddenly realized what he'd been doing wrong. I wonder if this story is almost over or if we're going to find out how Bill likes LA. I'm curious to see what kind of work he finds. Bet it won't be boring. I love these two and will not move from this spot until next week. Well maybe I'll move because I don't want to get fired from my job. See you next week! :)

Wow, u don't even know how I love ur story ;)
I'm happy that Tom finally realized how important Bill is to him and that he loves HIM not his money. And of course that they will live together is so good news ;) maybe they won't have problems like not seeing each other for so long like it was before, even if Tom still would have long distance trips.
And of course I CAN'T wait for another part.....he*ll I'll probably will rereade this story again ;)
Ps. I wish u so many inspirations for that story cos u really can't imagine the end of this ;)

Seeing them fight makes me sad, but I guess it's also understandable. What I've learn in life is that with two people living completely different lives, coming from different backgrounds, it's not easy to fit them together and adapt to other one's lifestyle. Especially if we talk about long distance relationships.
I wish they could sort things out. If I'm honest, I wish Bill would leave L.A behind - and Tom would work less.
Easier said than done, right?
I'm happy tyhat you're writing also real problems in their relationships. It makes this feel real.

Hi
This chapter is really harsh on those two.
Usually when they're together, the world fades and everything is fine for them.
But there, the world entered their bubble and not in a good way.
Stressing situations lead to words they didn't trully meant.
Tom and Bill accumulate frustration because they can't be together when they want, mostly Bill, and his friend's words of advice aren't really helping.
Poor Andi's problems lead them to waste a time together and Tom made it worst by not being able to go and see Bill. Not to mention Bill's little escapade with Natalie, even if nobody touched him.... A lot of things to tear them apart...
But Despite all the dark clouds upon them.... I can see a light. Bill is ready to say the L word and I think Tom is ready to do concessions to make this relation work. Not what he did with Steven, with all due respect to Georg, it's not time to end it, but time to change what hinders it.
All I hope is Bill didn't get himself in a terrible situation... But then it would be a chance for Tom to be a knight in shinning armor, if he's not too strong-headed to jump to the wrong conclusion.
I know whatever happened, you would make it right at the end... So I can't wait for the next chapter.

Another great chapter. I really felt sorry for Bill with Natalie pointing out that he was doing all the fretting and waiting around, and Bill is just trying to not upset Tom so he doesn't think Bill is getting too clingy and finish with him. Natalie's right on the money, though, saying it how it is, because Bill is being so very careful, treading on egg shells trying to fit in with Tom so he doesn't get dumped. I'm not realy at all happy with Tom because he just doesn't seem that committed to the relationship. He doesn't seem to have any emotion and miss Bill that much when they're apart. He didn't even get that upset over finding out Bill had done that sex party. I thought he'd go apeshit with jealousy, and he didn't like it but it didn't seem to freak him out as much as I thought it would if he really loved Bill. I'm happy that he supported Bill in the end when Andi needed him. I guess, though, that having a junkie froend like Andi just emphasises the differences between Bill and Tom's lifestyles and upbringings. At least Tom's worried enough by Bill's silence to go looking for him. I'm hoping Bill will give Tom the cold shoulder when he turns up in LA and make him really work for it if Tom has finally decided he wants more from the relationship. As you can see, I'm not a great Tom fan at the moment. Can't wait to see what happens when Tom does get to LA, and I'm hoping Bill's silence isn't for a more sinister reason than he's just pissed at Tom. More please.
