I really thought I did a review to this AMAZING chap!
I reread it at least a 3 times, I just can't get enough of this. You're one of the best writters that I've ever seen here, I'm glad that Bill and the kids, a long with Tom are fine, and ended up even better for the twins I'm glad they're decided to be a little selfish, it's good for both of them!
Well, I need a sequel as well :D

Author's Response: I love having them with a baby as well, but it would've slowed down the story to include that. Baby adventures sound fun, though. I may do that. :)

You're the only one so far to mention the G's. I thought they deserved some final comments on all that was going on. I'm also glad the twins opened up to each other. It can be like 2 or 3 pages if u don't want to spend a lot of time on it.
I'd really like to see a sequel cos I loved this one
Author's Response: I'm not sure about a sequel just yet. I wouldn't want to run the story into the ground with an unworthy followup. For now, there won't be. Though, I'm flattered that you're so eager to see more. I hope this story will continue to be enough for the time being. :)

Author's Response: Thanks ;) Ultimately, despite the oddity of the premise in general, I needed there to be a sense of realism. Realistically, they would need to hide for the sake of being able to live their life in relative peace... I'm wary about a sequel out of fear it would ruin the story thus far. Loved it! This story bordered on some serious tragedy, all the way to the end. It's not exactly an unhappy ending, and not really a happy one. The fact that they've decided to begin a more romantic relationship does not make it fluffy and lighthearted. They HAVE to accept this, so they did. As Tom says, "We wouldn't want it if we didn't have to." Circumstances set them up, and they've decided to make the best of it, even with all the built-in pitfalls. They're together, they'll be together for the rest of their lives, they love each other, so they're going to make it work. No matter that they're uncomfortable and unsure about it themselves. This story was terrific, from beginning to end. There's not enough sci-fi in the world for my taste! And the way you kept the twins platonic til the very end, and then turned it into a touching, sad yet hopeful romance was just perfect. I'm so glad you came back to this and got it finished, and I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!

I wanted an almost bittersweet, somewhat satisfying ending for the twins that left them more hopeful than they dared to be throughout the rest of the story. Thank you so much for this brilliant review. I'm flattered, and very happy that you believe I handled such a genre as sci fi which, from what I understand is easy to mess up. You seem to understand the balance of my twins more than most, and I've been so grateful for that. I hope it's somewhat of a comfort for me to say that I had no intention of abandoning this story. aww....their little family is bigger :) hehehe for sure everything is hard for them and of course Alanna's questions too but i think for Tom this is much harder than for Bill. welll, maybe they should try to change something with their life's and be full happy.
Author's Response: I can understand it coming off as being harder for Tom. I think the Bill character comes unhinged more often than Tom does, so it has more of an impact when he does. I have no doubt they'll be able to make the changes necessary to live as happily as possible. :)

Ahhh! I'm so glad you're back to writing, I've been waiting for this for a while. what a harrowing ordeal for these boys! Bill seems to be taking this second pregnancy in stride - I'd love to see a couple chapters dedicated to him and Tom going through this one together, since, as much as they didn't want this to happen again, they understand what's happening far more than with the first one, and they seem to be ready for it. It would be nice to see their relationship grow from this interesting platonic/monogamous one into perhaps something more sexual (I know they're not that way in this story, and you've kept the balance so nicely as I've mentioned before, but seeing as they live like a couple, have had sex and not just on the alien ship - Bill's going to be going through "that time" again - and they have a child together and one on the way, plus all the love they feel for one another and everything they've been through, it would be a lovely segue for them. And your readers!). This has been one heck of a journey you've taken us on, sometimes damned painful, which shows that you know how to draw the reader in. Thank you for coming back to this, and I hope everything's smoothing out for you so that you can continue to write!

I wish I had answered it in a more timely manner but, this story's been giving me so much trouble, it was easier to take the coward's way and avoid THF altogether. You did give me a lot to think about while writing, however, and I did take it all into account while working on the epilogue. I'm glad you understand the twins' dynamic here; I've tried so hard to keep it in balance, but they've been teetering the scale for some time now. I suppose we'll see how that turns out. I'll be honest; dedicating several chapters to contentment and subtle angst might not be my thing; as I tried and every character went haywire from their established characterization. Though, it will certainly be something to practice with more in my next THF some time from now. Thank you so much for your continued support. I greatly appreciate it. :)rnrn--Gabbi
