That's not what I meant, though. Umm, maybe try putting what was said in german in italics? That way we as readers know what is in english and what was in german. Like:
Jordan said, "I'm speaking in english."
Tom said, "I'm speaking in german."

Well, technically it's her point of view, so the german would sound like "aldflkdkdfasdkjhhvldjkgh" to her. Maybe you can switch the pov to Tom, so that way we can understanding what they were saying in german. Does that help?
Author's Response: Well I would have done that but it says not to put anything in another language or I would have just put it all in German but I didn't want the chapter to not get accepted.
