I think its really sad that Bill and Tom were being studied like that, no wonder Bill kept giving them false answers rather than bow to their control. It was also kind of sad how he had to go on his own to the judicial building, not knowing why he was going and having to leave Tom behind. I know he and Georg make a good pair but it seems like he was wrenched away from his twin. Another great chapter. Can't wait to read the second half of it.

I just love this idea of yours so much! Georg is such a cutie already. I love how you’ve explained how different the future is without bogging down the story at all. The museum was a beautiful touch, along with using the soup to explain how things have changed so drastically.
Wow, I can’t imagine having every minute of life on a timetable and regulated by the government. The world you’re creating here is so fascinating, and kind of scary although I wouldn’t mind appliances working that fast. I love that Bill is the breadwinner, and he seems like such a sweetheart.
You’re such a good writer. I cannot wait to read more of this!

I don't usually read this paring, but I wanted to give it a chance and I fouind myself being surprisingly entertained by them. I really enjoyed of what I was reading and even if I don't exactly know what to expect from the story, this sounds interesting for sure.
Really nasty dystopia, right? But this was rooted firmly to almost Orwell-ish world ionstead of sci-fi, which is often the case with fic located in a future. And cute retro. :)

I just want you to know that, and that's why I tweeted you. :) I realized after you said that about not really knowing what to expect, half of my summary got cut off, and I fixed that, and even still, it's not much of a hint. ;) I don't think it's such a NASTY distopia, but I think as the story develops each reader will take from it as they see fit. And I am honored at the mention of Orwell- he is one of my favorites. :D As for the sci-fi, I just posted chapter two, so it will start touching base with the sci-fi elements, so be on the lookout there. *huggles you* I really cannot thank you enough for your words, once again.

Interesting so far...Georg is so compliant with everything ...and while Bill is too, he somewhat has the rebel streak in him. I'm intrigued. It somewhat reminds me of my favorite story when I was younger ...The Giver. Just from the controlling aspect, but these two seem to still have their feelings :-)

I really, really loved this. Such a clever idea and you did an amazing job at building this future world with all the details of how life is run under such rigid rules. I'm so happy Bill and Georg's pairing is a happy one. Loved all the glimpses into their meeting and their first week together. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.
