And sorry to just review on the same chapter, but I DID look it up and it's 14 years imprisonment in Cali (WTF?). But in New Jersey there's no penalty if they're both over 18. Who would REALLY want to press charges against Bill and Tom anyway? I mean, would you rather imprison two consenting adults or the rapist? Not to mention that with the California prison system being so overloaded, they probably would try to hold it over their heads to ruin their careers rather than actually do anything about it...especially in LA, holy crap. Anyway, enough rambling! I'm just trying to figure everything out like I always do x3

Author's Response: Thanks for another incredible review. You put me to shame with all your research, but it shows me how involved you are in the story, which is a real compliment. I'm actually English, so not sure about US laws (although I do know that, like Scotland who are part of Great Britain but have some laws different from England and Wales, each state has its own laws). Over here incest is definitely illegal even between consenting adults. There was a case a few years back of a brother and sister who found each other after years of being seperated. They fell in love and even had kids, but the guy ended up being jailed when they were discovered and now they supposedly live together in a platonic relationship. Not sure I believe that, but good on them if they can make it work somehow. Incest is an evil thing when its nonconsensual and especially involving children, but if its not hurting anyone... So, perhaps the twins should move to New Jersey! I think, though, that jail time is just one of their fears. As much as some of their fans (not mentioning any names here...LOL!) might fantasise about them being together, there are thousands who'd be completely disgusted if it were true and their careers would be over. Plus they'd likely be hounded for the rest of their days and find no peace. Even Bill coming out as gay would be a major issue to my mind, with the hopes and dreams of so many female fans resting on him being straight. I'm actually a bit surprised they didn't bring up the blood pact from the last fic in this scene. Ay, I've forgotten to review the past eight chapters or so because your story's entertaining >.o Ah, well.

Suffice to say that I'm seriously enjoying this, and I KNEW MAX WAS MOLESTING BILL, I JUST KNEW IT. So glad you could bring Munroe back into the picture, though, even though I know she can't do much from London. Apparently she did enough!

Author's Response: Funny you mentioned the blood pact, I'd forgotten about it, and then it popped back into my head again yesterday. Its still working though; the twins' blood bond and their psychic connection keeps growing stronger. I love writing bad guys; must be something twisted in my own psyche, and its amazing when a reader gets so into the story they want to go all psycho on the villain. You're killing me. But before I die, a few words about the chapter. Love how you give the boys such a strong psychic connection - starting in the original story, too. Not just a few "feelings" or a coincidental pang here and there, but something so strong that Tom having "Billdar" isn't shocking. Here comes Tom, to save the day! And the secret police, too! yay, someone has to make up for the Keystone Kops! Lol.. as you wondered in one of your reviews to me - how many people reading this know what that means? Four percent? And cute realism for having Tom not know ;) And the other twins - very nice touch, something to prove to Tom that he and his brother aren't so much of a freak show as just very, very rare. Not alone. (and it sort of makes me wonder a tiny bit if there are support groups for twincesters, if that's even real? Not that I doubt sibling/twin couples, but it would just seem to me to be something so unusual as to be a very, very small part of the population. Then again, I don't have a cute brother...). I do hope everything is well with you, Helen dear, with you and all your kin. And I hope to see another chapt soon. Mine is a bit delayed and I wrote a scene I'm not too sure about, so I've got to think about it a bit. Nice talking at you!

Author's Response: As usual I love your reviews. This part of the chapter was the easiest to write, once I got into it it just unfolded and the ideas flowed. I know it might all seem very far-fetched but then the whole thing in fantasy, isn't it? I'm still having difficulties with what should have been the second part and will now be chap 14. I have Max's POV down, but not sure exactly when or how to wake Bill up, or what scenario he'll wake up to. I've already written two versions and not completely happy with either of them. I'm plugging away at it though and will get there eventually. The trouble is, as much as I love the idea of having Tom riding to the rescue, I'm still wanting Bill involved in getting himself out of the mess. I think he needs to rediscover his strength or he's never going to cope with the aftermath of the abuse. I'm just not sure how that will happen now he's Max's prisoner. Oh, well, I'm sure inspiration will eventually strike...after all, when I get in a fix like this I worry the idea to death - and I'm talking zoning out during the day and sleepless nights - until I find a solution. Obsessive? Me? You bet! Not a good trait, especially at this time of year when I have so much else to do and I do not need my mind filled with THF. Nice talking to you, too. Max sure is a clever bastard. And the cops are stupid bastards. They didn't want to include Tom. They didn't involve the security guard that was sitting in the next room. I think your "undercover" informant (who you knew was exposed) being kidnapped during your operation will NOT be good for your promotion aspects.
I am looking forward to reading about Bill waking up and what happened to Tom. I am hopeful that Bill will assault or kill Max like he deserves, especially if he can sense Tom was hurt.

Aaaaaa!!!! Okay, two in a row nearly killed me. All the tension! Tom wanting so very much to connect with Bill, needing real time with him, healing, private time. The missing pendrive (I was so relieved that they got it back, though). Sick Dr. Max - just thinking about him churns my stomach. And now, he's absconded with poor Bill! Nooooo!! I feel sick thinking that Bill is going to be sexually assaulted again! It's an interesting twist how Detective Munroe has become a sort of touchstone in the boys' lives, even with the animosity between them. As for BotTom - I'm really starting to like it, and you wrote such a lovely, touching sex scene between them. The Keystone Cops are hilariously frightening - always effing up everything, to the point of putting people's lives in danger. And now what! Tom is surely about to lose his mind. And I am, too, damn it. Hoping for another chapter soon (I think - I may be dreading it....I'm crying at the thought of poor Bill getting raped and am keeping my fingers crossed that you have him rescued!). Excellently written thriller!
