I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

Ik, so I doubted the veracity of a 5year old plant, and a thirteen year game plan with it, with no contact for the first four years. Kid wouldvw forgotten. There are so many thing wrong wih the paln I don't even want to get into it. Mostly bbecause this ending was amazing..

WHOA! that was INTENSE! for a second i really thought tom was gonna jump but then he didn't, and then comes jorg and now both tom and bill are on the verge of death. PHEW! and despite all of the ruckus no one died! PHEEW!
i really got hooked on this fic that i totally neglected the fact that i have a long quiz later this morning O.o i love it to death!
btw, how long has tom known about bill's mission? and how the hell did he know?! O.o i thought billy was doing a great job! i was really proud of him at some point i could almost replace jorg XD is it during the pillow incident?

Read this whole dang thing in one shot.
I cried!! I don't usually read the warnings in fics before reading, so I truly thought they were both going to die.
I would say I want a short sequel or epilogue, but I think the ending was perfect as it was.
I do have one little question, though. They're the same age, right? So Jorg waited two years after Tom's birth before getting Bill? Oh, and you said they were five when they met, and that Bill would make an attempt on Tom's life one year later, but then the pillow incident happened when they were eight.

"I like it here. It’s, I don’t know…quiet. In my head," He added, nodding downward at the roaring traffic. "I needed to see you." - this is ominous!
"I wanted to talk to you…one last time."
"’One last time’? What’s that supposed to mean?" - *LOL*
"I’m better off dead," Tom droned, as if he couldn’t hear Bill’s pleading, "Mom only worries about me and Dad’s too busy being rich. They have their money for comfort. And as for everybody else…" Tom paused, "There was never anybody else. There was just you, Bill."
"I’m still here!" Bill wailed, forgetting his apprehensions and rushing forward, clutching onto Tom’s leg, "I’m here and I’m telling you to get your ass down! You don’t have to kill yourself!"
"Why not? You wanted to."
Bill froze, still clutching onto Tom’s leg, though all struggling movements ceased. - *squeals with delight and flutter claps*
"That night at the chalet…" Tom’s voice had gone grave with emotion. Bill sensed Tom’s eyes leave him and he finally chanced a look upwards, watching Tom stare down at the passing cars, without a trace of fear. God, Bill was so scared.
"That night, I wanted to believe it more than anything. But I heard you talking on your phone or whatever and it really hit me. You were never gonna be mine Bill. I’m sorry…I was so damn stupid…" - *places hand over wickedly grinning mouth and giggles*
Was this what perfection felt like? Bill wondered as he pressed his face onto Tom’s shoulder, smearing his eye make-up but not caring any less. It seemed like everything rose to meet his favor. Time had stopped for Bill, in this one moment, this one precious moment in Tom’s arms. He inhaled, smelling Tom’s scent, rubbing his face against Tom’s hard shoulder. Was this what love felt like? Bill had no trouble in believing that. There was nothing more he could possibly want - awh that’s beautiful!
They’ve been caught oh no!!!
The Bill offering to jump off the edge wouldn’t be so convincing because Jorg doesn’t really care about him either.
"I said let the stupid kid go!" Jorg barked, his face turning red. "We’re done here." - WHAT???!!!
"Were you really going to jump?"
There was a pause.
"Tom?"
"No."- really? *sigh*
Ok I pretty much loved this story up until this chapter. And then {poof} the bottom fell out of the story. I think you must have gotten tired of it. Your character motivation was awesome and practically flawless up until this chapter and then you had Jorg just cave? Come on after 15 years of working on a plan he just says oh never mind I won’t follow through?! NO would not happen he would kill both Tom and Bill and let it be! He didn’t care about Bill. He cared but not enough to go against his plan.
The suicide thing worked. The bridge murder thing worked. The stopping the suicide thing worked. And Jorg’s goons grabbing them and threatening to throw Tom off. Couldn’t you have them get caught or something? Or something major distract them like Wilson who was really a police officer come down with the swat team who was really working under cover in Bill and Tom’s house? Then you could have gotten your happy ending and it would have worked out all the bits.
*sigh* do you see this > :| This is my disappointed face. *pouts*
Author's Response: ooh wow you're good. Yeah, I did get tired of this story, to be completely honest (I have a tendency for getting bored around chapter 9). I'm sorry you felt disappointed by the ending. Maybe one day, I'll blow the dust off this chapter and give it another go, just because now that my laziness has been pointed out, I feel cheap haha :P

His cheeks heated vehemently whenever he thought back to the feel of Tom’s tongue on his own, and the exploring sensations of their bodies seething under the blanket. His skin blossomed in a terrain of goose bumps, as he remembered, with a jolt, Tom’s hunger lavishing every inch of his body. - dude thinking about it get me! DUDE!!!
Bill waited for Wilson to depart and leave him to his misery, however, Wilson remained in place, clasping his shovel-like hands and peering nervously down at Bill with his dark, knowing eyes. Bill felt uncomfortable under the scrutiny, just wishing it would go away. What did he want from him? Bill opened his mouth, prepared to say something though he realized he didn’t know what sort of soliloquy Wilson expected. - Bill is now playing a more dangerous game he is now a rouge agent and Jorg will come after him with all his might!
"I know that sometimes we think we know someone…Yet time distorts and blurs our perception and we come to realize maybe we didn’t know them as we once imagined. Think carefully Bill, you always have a choice." - What? What? What? What? What? What? What? What? I think that bears repeating What???!!!
His plan was about to fall through because this one link in the chain, the precious link that was Bill, was rusty with fatigue. - nice analogy!
He carefully mulled over his strategies and planned a new attack, one he felt less than partial to, but had more chances of effectiveness.
"Look," he sighed, trying to put on his best pained, suffering face, "I don’t know how to say this…"
Jorg paused for dramatic effect as he saw Bill’s attention hooked, taking the bait. Jorg hid his triumphant smile well. Too easy.
"I’m not good with all these sentimental words but…I’ve missed you more than you can know. It’s been…difficult….watching you live with another family…Very difficult, actually." - oooohhhhh OMG he’s sooo good! Holy fuck!
When you get home, meet me at the bridge over by the highway. I just need to talk to someone. Please come as soon as you get this. I’ll be waiting. - You do coincide well too! Too many of these and the story could be ruined but you seem to do just the right amount!
