I have been very touched by this, considering My brother went into the army when i was only 3 (He was 17). I have an idea for the ending, too. Tom, After weeks of non stop thinking, decides to go to war to avenge Georg. He goes without telling anybody but ellie. Once He gets there, He meets Georg's commander, General jameson. The General, After a long reminiscence of the lost soldier, tells tom of his speculations that Georg might very well still be alive. Tom, on his First assignment, finds Georg's necklace. He finds IT AT the gates of the border of Iran. He travels to Iran only to find Georg has been Held a prisoner of war and is nearly dead. Georg explains that the death was just a hoax put up by the iranian army. Just as tom is untying him, Georg's captors walk in, and firing ensues. After a long battle, with only one captor left, tom is still firing, when a bullet Hits him in his left shoulder, and the last thing He Sees is Georg crying and smiling down AT him saying we did IT Baby, we won. Tom wakes up in a Hospital with Georg by his side. He explains everything. The epilogue i feel should be entirely up to you. Give this a shout out in the end of the NeXT chap letting me know how you liked this and if you will do this or not. Lots of love and encouragement, skittlesgirl.

Dayum gurl, you're my favourite Torg author so far, I love your stories and I love this one. Most of the wartime stories are stupid and sappy but this one was like... sappy but not in an annoying way.
It felt like Tom just ripped out his fucking heart and shoved it into my hand.
Poor Tom :( The clothing ripping part was so sad, it was like "GARRRH FUCK ALKSDJFLAKE JA;LKEJF LFKDJA K"*insert Castiel crey*

Uhh I keep fantasizing about the ending to this story and making up different ways it could end. My favorite is that a body got so burnt from an explosion, they automatically thought it was Georg, but because he was missing at that time, they didn't know it wasn't him. And then basically he returns and all is ended in a happily (but emotional) ever after with Tom and Ellie. Wow, did I really just review with this? Well anyways, keep up the good work and I hope to see more chapters soon!
