Author's Response: More is explained later in the story. Mika was a powerful being and all the creatures from Bill's dimension are way more powerful than humans. It's pronounced M-eye-ka.

Oh my goodness. I am loving this fic SO MUCH. I barely have words to describe how much. Amazing. Complex. Intriguing. I love Bill's...off-ness. His repetition, and how he barely seems THERE sometimes. Fantastic depiction.
I do have a bit of confusion though...if the council doesn't. Want slayers socializing, and in fact didn't send backup for Tom's family, how do Geo Gus and Tom know eachother, and where do they live in relation to eachother?

Author's Response: Slayers are allowed to know each other, but their interactions are kept to a minimum. Georg lives fairly close to Tom, maybe an hours drive away from Tom. I do believe that it states something in a previous chapter about how they don't allow extended periods of time with slayers of the same gender.
