I really enjoyed this! I never really looked into the boys' father, I hope he's really not as big a dick as he is in the story! And I love the softy Tom!
Author's Response: Hi, thanks for reading and the great review. Did you actually see the Bild article? The fact that Jorg would go to that rag paper with details of his boys makes him a dick in my book. That just struck a chord with me and I couldn't get it out of my head until I'd written about it. Once again, thank you for reading and taking the time to review. Glad you enjoyed it.

That interview... *sigh*. What I think about it is that we shouldn't know anything about it. Whatever their family issues are, they shouldn't be on Bild's pages - regardless of who to blame (usually nobody or both).
Anyway, I really liked the weay you handled it in here. The pain was here and in a way I think thatr for Tom - as "daddy's boy" - this all must have been more painful. Some parts (like him waiting for Jörg to call back) were heartbreaking and overall you captured the atmosphere well. And the conclusion in the end - sappy or not - is just the truth. :)
Author's Response: Thank you for your lovely, thoughtful review. I'm really happy I got the emotions across. Thank you for reading.

Awwwww I thought that was a really sweet story. It's brilliant how you've captured Tom's soft side and made it very believable. It's a thing that most people struggle with in stories but this is how I see Tom and Bills relationship, just without the sexual side.
Author's Response: Thank you for the lovely review. I'm happy you read it how it was intended.

oh my gods, did I love this or what? Wonderful
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm really happy you enjoyed it so much and I love that you took the time to review. That really means a lot to me.

Not respond to the article, sure. But they have been completely silent on the app, or so I was told. It's probably just a coincidence, since they're just back from the Coachella, but still. I guess I just want another silly picture of tennis gear to make sure they're fine.

Awww, how sweet! And I love how you made Tom the emotional one, the one worrying about his fathers reaction.. Loved it!
Author's Response: Really pleased you enjoyed it. I love making Tom the needy one and Bill taking care of him for a change. Thank you for your lovely review.

Oh god ;-;
It was heart-warming, especially since the boys' silence on the app has been making me a little worried. It really helps to picture them warm and together under the covers of their bed, taking care of each other and easing the situation for each other.
Thank you. i.i
And no matter why he did it (money or authentic parental concern), Jorg is a scumbag for doing it. Exposing the boys like that, it's absurd!
Author's Response: So happy you liked it. I wouldn't expect the twins to respond to the article, better they keep quiet. Thank you for an amazing review.

Ah, so touching! I'm sad for them, but also happy and hopeful because at least they have each other - that's what really matters :)
Author's Response: I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And I feel just like you, even without the whole twincest element - which, let's face it, is very, very likely just in our imaginations - the twins do have each other. Thank you so much for reading and taking time to review. It means a lot to me.

I wondered when the first story would appear about Tom, Bill and Jorg. This was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love your writing style and could almost feel Tom's pain. :)
Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much for your kind words. I felt strongly after reading the article that, even if Jorg does have grievances, what father goes to a rag like Bild and airs them in public? I'm really glad you enjoyed the story and thank you again for taking the time to review. I really appreciate it.

I really liked this (loving Keeping up Appearances, by the way). I was appalled when I ready the interview. Who does that to their kids? I can't even imagine what the twins are feeling right now. I liked the balance in your story between hurt/and complete lack of surprise at their father's behavior.

I am so glad you wrote that, its perfect, I was so waiting for it and not knowing. Thank you.
Author's Response: You're very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for leaving such a lovely review.

Helen, your take on this was just breath taking and so realistic, that with all that's been going on with reality, this had me in tears by the end. I honestly don't know how to feel about the interview, or if it's even true, but if so, then I loved how you gave it a spin of realism from within their minds through your eyes.
This was just amazing and I'm so glad you wrote it first, giving it that heir of mystery and perfect peaceful sweetness between the twins. Loved it, going to read again!!
Author's Response: Thankee my dear friend, Glad you enjoyed, even if it did have you in tears. Great that you thought it was realistic. That interview just wouldn't leave me alone all day and the idea came to me so I had to go with it. I actually enjoyed writing something else, other than Keeping Up Appearances, because I've been working on that for so many months. Thanks again for your support.

Wow, that was good.
Yeah, I saw a photo of that headline somewhere online... Pretty galling of their biological father to do that.
It was a sweet sadness, with Bill comforting Tom, as well as a bittersweet ending. I can somewhat empathize, having an estranged father myself. He whines in court about how he misses me and my siblings, but then rags us about our lifestyle choices and spends all his time with his new gf anyway. Guh, we're well rid of him, like with the twins.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading and for the great review. I really can't see how Jorg says he's so worried for them and then adds to their cares by going public with his grievances like this. I'm so happy you got what I was trying to say with this story. Thanks again, glad you enjoyed it.
