I read this without pausing in two days, and the only reason it took me that long was because I was forced to go to school and work. This is one of the best fics I’ve ever read. The way you described the feelings, the emotions, just everything. As someone who went through an eating disorder herself, this story was even more intense. You captured it all so well and all I can do is bow down to your talent as an author. You are an amazing writer and I can’t wait to start reading the sequel. Thank you so much for this story, it wasn’t only nice to read but also a form of therapy in a way.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for this review! I am just now able to check this and having to use a work computer praying I don't get caught. My laptop crashed and I've been writing stories on an old computer I had from ten years ago that sits at my desk at work where I manage property and still haven't gotten an Ethernet cord for lol. I want to warn you that the sequel explores more the aftermath of this disease and I go into some pretty strange psychology. I was medically abused as a child and it made me fascinated with the medical field as well as giving me this horrible, strange disease that I projected onto my main character. Again, I really appreciate this review and I am so sorry you've struggled with the same thing. Some of the chapters of the sequel are so long I've lost readers and between the laptop crashing and work work work, I haven't had a moment to really sit down and write much on it. Feel free to read and any feedback is appreciated. Thank you again! This was a lovely surprise when I checked from my phone! Have a wonderful week. Don't work too hard and always keep reading!!!

The story was very touchy. The entire chapter kept me on edge
Leading up to the sex, kept me on edge about what was going to happen next. Adam seeing the cuts on Bill's legs, then taking care of him, and demanding that Bill's body was now his, too. That was amazing.
The chapter did take me back to a precious experience I had years and years ago, so I could definitely relate to the emotions Bill felt.
During the sex part, that was genuine. That was true.
Overall, the chapter was very well written and sensual.
Cannot wait to find out what happens next and in the rest of story.
Excited to read the rest, the sequel, amd the upcoming othe sequels . (If there are any)

Author's Response: 💚💚💚 awww...thank you! Yes it is a pretty intense story through and through. I'm sorry if this had painful reminders for you but a lot of writing really helps me with inner turmoil I experience, too. So I hope it wasn't too painful of a read. Hope you get to read some more and that you enjoy the story. Thank you again for the lovely review!!!

Patasiuem really fuckin hurts in an IV...he needs pain meds with it.
It hurt me so much, i couldnt even take even a milometer before i started screaming and they had to take it out and give it to me in pill form....thing was there was this "nurse" there that used to be an army sargent and when he started flushing the IV after that, he did it so fast, it made me hurt even worse and he had to be told by another nurse to get out of the room and we were told that they always had problems with him.

Author's Response: I'm really sorry that you went through that. I've been there, sweetie. In fact, besides the near suicide attempt in the story, I've been through a lot of this. It hurts because it's so thick, if it was the same stuff they gave me. Thank you for sticking with this story and I love your reviews. It gives me hope to keep writing this, even though I know it's very long, wordy and probably over explains a lot. It makes a difference when you have good nurses and I love writing them. Your reviews are appreciated more than you know!!rn

apparently, nose bleeds can be a sign of Leukemia too

Author's Response: Thank you for your reviews. Sorry I'm just getting to this. Nose bleeds are common for a lot of medical reasons. Prolonged bulimia for one because of what it can do to the vessels in the nose. Again, thanx!

I did love the fluff in this chapter but it wouldn't be you writing if there wasn't a load of angst and drama too. But then that just made it more realistic. It wouldn't be right if everything was suddenly all sunshine and flowers. Bill's continuing struggle against his inner demons shows that, quite frankly, recovery from the kind of abuse he suffered can last a lifetime. A person might learn to live with it and mostly forget or learn to manage the fallout (as Bill is doing with Anita's help), but it will never leave them completely. Adam will have to realise that in marrying Bill he's also committing himself to coping with Bill's emotional issues for life. As much as he finds it daunting to be taking on both twins, he'll probably also be thankful at times that he can share Bill's care with Tom, someone who understands, and that he won't have to cope with it entirely alone. I did love the way Adam and Tom came to a compromise over presenting Bill with the jewellery box and putting the engagement ring in it. I think there will always be a degree of jealousy, especially on Tom's part, but they both love Bill and want what's best for him and this was a great start to them working together in his best interests...and springing an amazing surprise on him. I must admit to holding my breath at that point and wondering whether Bill would actually accept the proposal. So glad he did. And loved how everyone was only too eager to have a night out and leave the twins alone because Bill was already driving everyone crazy with his wedding fever...I absolutely know that feeling and thank God the obsession calms down a bit after a while, until the date starts to get closer and closer!!!! I know you're eager to start on something new, but I want a wedding story sometime in the future, either a one off or as part of a sequel. Thanks for sharing this amazing story with us, and for seeing it through to the end. I know it's not always been easy for you to be able to write and post, but you've not given up on it. Love you tons, and I am so damned eager to read whatever you write next. Love you tons, Helen xx

Author's Response: I think you're going to find the sequel to your liking. It's very different in some ways, the way it's developing in just the first chapter. Thank you so much for this final review. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I think Adam will find himself a little in over his head in my next installments, but we'll just have to see how it plays out. He definitely loves Bill and he cares deeply for Tom and understands that it's a life long commitment with the both of them. Tom's jealousy is probably always going to be an issue, but he'll cope, dammit, because I'll make him, lol! Thank you again for seeing this whole thing through. Sequel in progress, so you might get that wedding after all!

I so hated the paparazzi in this chapter. Forcing the twins off the road, nearly getting them killed. Jeez, if it had taken a minute longer for Bill to get free of that seatbelt...the thought sent shivers down my spine. I hope they catch the bastards responsible. And then there were more paps invading the twins' private space once they got home, and also like vultures outside the courtroom. Talk about bloodsuckers. I am so damned relieved the court case is over and Jorg got put away for a good long time, and thanks go a long way to Tom for having the lawyer submit that shirt in evidence. That was a brilliant inspiration on your part. Now hopefully both Bill and Michael can start to heal without the stress of having to prove their case hanging over their heads. Maybe Bill's migraines will calm down now without the need for huge doses of pain meds, and he'll be able to concentrate on beating his ED. And...squeal in excitement...amidst all the angst and drama loves blooms. I can't wait for Adam's proposal. And it was so cute the way he basically asked Tom for Bill's hand in marriage. What a decision for Tom to have to make. He knows Adam also has Bill's best interests at heart, but his twin still has a long road ahead to recovery and Adam has only been around such a short time, while Tom has been there for Bill all along, through the good, the bad and the terrible. To relinquish some of his responsibility for caring for Bill over to Adam will be so damned hard for Tom. And yet, he wants Bill to be happy and he knows Adam makes him happy. I think he handled it really well, and Adam also proved that he understands the twins' bond and won't try to seperate them. As much as I'm going to miss this story, I can't wait to see how you wrap it up in the next chapter. Great job done on this, my dear. Love and hugs, Helen xx

Author's Response: Sorry I'm just now getting to this. This was, without a doubt, one of my hardest chapters because I wanted to capture as much as I could of what the twins were going through without making it too long. It still ended up longer than I'd planned, though. I'm glad I could induce such emotions in you about the paparazzi chase and them being outside their home, but that's what it was like for them in real life, minus the car accident, so I want to get their life somewhat like it really is, or how I could imagine it if they were going through stuff like this. I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy what I put my characters through, lol. I wanted the asking of Bill's hand in marriage with Tom because he is, in a way, very parental. Plus, in having power of attorney over Bill's actual life, they can't make that decision without Tom's permission in the first place. But, it was more symbolic, I guess. You are going to love some of the things I put in the next chapter if you liked that. It's a lot shorter and easier to read, too, I think. I'm glad you liked the way I did the case and bringing out that last bit of evidence. Plus, Jorg exploding in court and giving himself away didn't help things much either. Alright, that's about all. I loved this review as I love you! Thank you, Helen, for always being there to get me to push through with things. I probably wouldn't have finished this without you!
