The birthday party was so sweet and felt like such a rare, special, free moment for the twins. I love how Tom is always trying to watch Bill because it seems so big-brotherly and like he’s trying to protect him. And how you put it, that Tom likes to stand back and watch Bill shine.
I really love the twin interaction after Tom killed the arms master and how Bill wanted to support him from the shadows and Tom clearly needed and longed for that support, but those last couple lines really scared me. I have no idea what you have planned for these guys, but I can’t wait to find out!

Sorry for the late review! First of all, I hate Jorg even more (if that's possible) now that we now that him being an asshole is canon. I still can't believe what he did... I just wanna hug the twins but I'm good with them hugging each other too... =P
I love the change of emotions in this chapter... you can really feel the confusion, how they don't wanna stop being close but then there's all those rumors and the fact that they are suppose to kill each other some day. So heartbreaking. The scene when Bill closed his door... my poor heart! There should never be a closed door between the twins and that was such a sad symbol =( Anyway, awesome chapter as usual =D
Author's Response: No worries! You know it makes me happy you're reading. ♥ It made me so angry and upset, what he did - it's unforgivable. If he ever had a good relationship with his sons, he destroyed it. And I am good with them hugging each other too!

Why yes, yes I did enjoy Act I.
I was wondering if Bill would ever cath on that he was kinda jealous on top of being worried and depressed about his lack of lifespan.
You did a wonderful job getting across the complicated csituation and confusing mixed feelings of Tom's first kill.
I am quite excited to see Act II, but I am curious, will we e gettig to see anything from Jorg's perspective anymore? Or was that strictly a firs chapter thing? Keep up the wonderful work! I can't wait to see them hit their teen years (well the later teen years anyway), and to see how their relationship developes from here.

Oh wow. Rumors are the worst weapon ever because they cut so deeply. They can't prove anything, but once that little seed of doubt is planted, it's almost impossible to remove. Poor boys. Jorg is really trying to divide them to conquer, but it seems important that all the rumors focus on Bill being the one wanting to kill Tom. Hmm, so no one is starting a rumor that Tom is also trying to kill Bill?
I loved the training scene with Tom and Marcus and how Bill casually showed off his strength, too. And I really love how you're taking us through the years, highlighting all the important parts that show how hard the twins' lives are growing up and how there's a wedge slowly growing between them with the rumors. My heart aches for these guys!

God, I love it when you're on an update schedule...it just adds an extra couple of high points to look forward to in my week. This chapter is a real blessing to my day, you don't even know...being able to read something I like so much before bed really takes the edge off of a rough couple of days :) *hugs*
Anyway, holler! this is turning out to be more upsetting than i'd imagined, but also very interesting. i like their plan to kill Jorg instead, only they're starting to feel like they won't get that far and that's not good...whoever's starting the rumors (Jorg?) is making them forget about their plan and their unity and worry about each other and themselves...:/ can't wait for more, i'm pleased they grew up so fast, more time for spring in the air, I hope :) that's my solution to this problem they're having--puberty. once they're all attracted to each other they won't feel separated anymore, haa ;)
