So far its really good! And I really hope they don't kill Sarah or her baby :( It makes me sad that the female babies are dumped in the kitchen of the compound :( I really do hope Bill gets them all out of there before its too late.

You see that in a lot of older houses with lead paint. People would paint windows shut. It works orginally but the paint chips and peels after a while rendering it uneffective. We had to unseal the windows when we moved. I will update as soon as possible.

I love this! I have been lurking in the story because I never have time to leave a decent review that the story deserves..And I still don't. Haha but I can't help myself reviewing this time because I love how it turns out.
You've create the atmosphere that the slave house is unescapable and I was totally convinced that Bill and Tom would stay there forever,maybe rise to master and kill Gustav in the way...But Bill escapes! I hope he's fine and adapt to the normal world again and hopefully his family and friends will be understanding and helpful.
You know,when I first click into the story I am not sure about it. I have an unhealthy obsession about rape fics- preferably twincest- but slavery is never my thing. I hate reading human being treat like processions. But somehow I find myself reading this and enjoying it. Maybe it's the tiny hope in the story, maybe it's how inhumane the masters are -which I desperately want some justice to act on them- but I am hooked;-) You've done a great job in characterization - I never thought Georg and Gustav can be good villains. Especially Georg. Pantene, pretty, kindhearted, teddybear Georg..a slave master! Didn't see that one coming when I first reading it.
And Tom. *sigh* He didn't belong here. I wonder why he never tries to kill Gustav or any house master- because they were incredibly annoying and Tom could have a chance to take over the house.
Btw ,is the story going to be very long? I don't think it can be finished anytime soon and I am just wondering if I can deal with ,like 40 chapters of angst. Like the 'broken mirror' series of an amazing author on the site, I have to give up because I simply couldn't deal with all the angst and hopelessness. *sigh* so give us a hint on the length,pls? *puppyeyes*lol

Well, if this is your idea of a proper review I can understand why you reviewed in the first place. I am glad you decided that you could not resist this time. I am glad that the slave house served it's purpose and became an inescapable place. That was my intent. I am not sure that Bill or Tom ever would have killed Gustav if they were there forever and in the beginning that was my plan watch Bill rise through the ranks but I just couldn't write it. It didn't work. I hope so too but again we shall see.

It's not in Tom's nature to fight back. He followed the rules because they broke his spirit. It was that simple even after he was a master his spirit was still broken not only by what they did too him but what he saw and sees while he's there. That kind of environment can ruin anyone's will to fight back.

My longest story is only 22 chapters. I don't write much more than that but I am not sure. This story has challenged a lot of my comfort zones. The chapters pushing themselves to be longer, the characters pushing themselves into more angst and the story lines carrying on longer then I originally planned. I think it probably won't be 40 chapters. I don't like angst for any period writing or reading it so I generally don't carry on with the angst. I try to resolve it quickly. I think 22- 24 chapters is a good bet. I hope you will be able to make it through that. (I have also tried to read that story and couldn't get through it either.)

There are two ways I think this could pan out one of two ways.
One; Bill could come back with help and save Tomi and Sarah. (I prefer this method)
Two; Bill could get back to New York and live his life like nothing had ever even happened.
I don't want Bill to be a coward and take the easy way out. But I do want to be pleasantly surprised. So I'll let you tell the story. Can't wait for the next chapter!

The escape was planned in advance for me but when I wrote it I'll admit it was at a moment that made it seem rushed. When I read through I thougth about moving it back maybe after showers but it didn't work and I don't think Billl would have gotten very far in the daytime. I know thinking Sarah was involved was stupid but hey you know this entire place has some pretty stupid thinkgs going on. I am glad you like it and like the fact that Bill got away.
