Not that I'm happy about Anis getting shot (=O), but I'm pleased that there's still dramatic stuff happening.

OK! Before I comment on THAT LAST PART, I just want to say, this story is so freaking beautiful. Your descriptions of their love and their feelings are so wonderful and perfect. Every little nuance is fantastic - finding the little kitten just added to my squee.
NOW. OMG WTF? Of course there has to be drama and angst, but I figured it was coming from Tom (and I still do), not from Anis getting shot!!
Tell me this doesn't have a hidden major character death....please. I can't take it if Anis and Bill don't live happily ever after.

First things first: I loved how Anis reacted to the news, and that ne wants to be with Bill an d be' a father to the babies. What he told about his own father show how much he cares for a real family, almost as much as Bill himself, who never had a real parental figure.
So I see Who they both are moving tosare a marriage so fast.
About the mysterious assailant... I cannot tell, but I have a very bad vibe about the way Bill conducted his call with Tom. Can the husband have reacted that bad and tried to kill his competitor? In the end we know how jelous he acted and that before leaving Bill had been only his. Don't keep me waiting too long, I don't think my heart could take it...
Author's Response: Your poor heart! I'll try to take good care of it and get a chapter up as soon as I can, but next one is going to take a few days, unfortunately (lots of work. Lots and lots of work). You're right about how both of them want a real family. They also both want a happy, love-filled relationship. So yeah, they are both pretty much ready to make that commitment, even if it seems fast. rnYou make some interesting points about the possible culprit...

You want me to talk to your after ending the chapter like that?!!!!! You'll be lucky!!!! Oh, okay then, maybe just a word or two...or a few dozen. Another incredible chapter with a totally unexpected ending. Can't believe you'd do that to Anis just after that lovely dinner and the marriage proposal. Damn, he and Bill can't get a break? Okay, hypotheses on the shootists...something to do with the embezzelment case, or Mrs Kishbaugh's husband...or Tom's hired someone to get rid of Anis hoping once he's out of the way Bill will go back to him. Oh, how is Bill going to get to hear about the shooting, and will the shock hurt the babies? Okay, leaving the cliffhanger for a minute, I just knew Anis wouldn't be able to leave little Kismet behind...and what a great name. Fave line - 'No matter how thick the fog, all I could feel was sunshine' when Anis is thinking about Bill. And the quickie that turned into a not-so quickie on the couch...hot as fuck as usual. The three-week gift was inspired, and I loved the way Bill persuaded Anis to his way of thinking about not telling Tom about the twins, although I can tell Anis still has doubts. And Anis's interactions with Liz are so funny...can't wait until he tells her Bill is pregnant and they start comparing pregnancy notes. That is if Anis survives the shooting...which he just has to. I hope you've already started on the next chapter because I will be going seriously insane imagining how its all going to play out. Please, I know you're busy, busy, busy but post more soon.
Author's Response: Hi Helen! So glad you wrote anyway, even after the cliffhanger ;) Anis is so happy right now with Bill and babies and cats...hopefully he'll live to enjoy them all. I had a lot of fun writing this chapter, after not being sure what I wanted to do with it. I loved the line about the fog, too! Often I'll write without much thinking, then re-read something and go, "hell, that turned out pretty good!" Anis definitely still has his doubts about keeping the babies from their natural father, but he does understand everything Bill said about it. Glad you noted Liz and Anis! I wanted some background characters with real personalities, instead of just as a filler. And I definitely think she and Bill will be "mommy friends." But first...we have to find out what happens to Anis....

Omg you are torturing me with this! Wow I can't believe poor Anis got shot! But I'm really so happy to see Bill happy. He deserves that. Gosh I hope Anis is okay. Though I do wonder what Tom is doing, I hope he doesn't cause any problems. Loved this chapter! It was hot, sweet and thrilling! :)

you know what I just realized that if Tom was Bill and Bill was Tom, what I mean is if Bill was the rich cheater bastard dude, and Tom was what Bill basically is a man that married a rich man and is living the easy life because he married Bill and then falls in love with Bushido the PI and had his babies. i love totally hate Bill and root for Tom/Bushido to live happily ever after. I honestly don't know why I don't want Bill and Bushido together in this story. anywho thanks for the treat I imagined it was an oreo because I'm craving some right now. =)

i totally understand bu's point of view about bill telling tom...but in the same time i'm happy that bill is stubborn and he won't tell him,cuz he's right and he knows tom better than anyone.and i always agreed about one thing : parents aren't the ones that conceived you but the ones that raised you!
i like how anis cares about bill's needs and the way he treats him,this is love,all the relationships should be like this.

Author's Response: I was actually immediately taken with Bu and Andrej in this story. For some reason, they seemed to match really well. I'd love to do a story with them, but I'd have to figure out a way to work in Bill/Tom, since it is a TH site... Hmm..... rnLove that you're enjoying the Romance (with a capital R!) I just can't get away from stories with that wonderful True Love as the theme. It's so fun and dramatic. rnrnWe'll have to see what happens with poor Bu!
