I guess Ria can't take a hint. If your boyfriend doesn't answer your calls and texts and won't answer the door when you turn up...doesn't that just scream 'leave me alone'. What did she expect, that once Bill had moved out everything would just magically be okay between her and Tom? She's so sneaky getting out of Tom's suspicions with that lie about overhearing the twins' talking. I'm so happy that Tom hasn't just turned to her for comfort while he's missing Bill. There's only one person he really needs and that person's missing and is the reason he needs comfort in the first place. So happy they're texting and keeping in touch, though. I think its kind of funny that Bill is still managing to piss Ria off 'even from several blocks away'. I wonder how long it will be before Ria has another 'little word' with Bill and tells him to stop texting because he's making it harder on Tom to make a break. This chapter was so good. Oh, I can't wait until Tom discovers Ria's lies.
Author's Response: That's a great idea to have Ria tell Bill to back off, but no it doesn't happen, I will tell you that. As another reviewer said, they come in a pair and she doesn't seem to get that. If Tom can't have Bill he doesn't want anyone else. When I say that I mean that he wants Bill to keep him company, to be him companion and he wants Bill for that or no one.

What an awkward situation. Tom must have been hurting so badly inside when he turned up at his brother's new place like that. Brave boy. I was still a little surprised he could do it. I would be just sulking, feeling pity for myself, avoiding Bill like a plague. But then again I have no twin right?

Author's Response: I wouldn't want to go by to his house either. It would be so depressing. But I think he just wants to be supportive and still be in Bill's presence as much as he can. I agree that it's extremely brave of him to go and see Bill, cause that couldn't have been easy.
I tried to give Ria your message, but she sits in the corner crying most days. She was so loud I don't think she heard me. People want to feed her to Sharks and punch her in the face, it's made her pretty sad.

I think they both know this isn't right! Neither of them are quite able to express it in appropriate ways, though, and they're clearly too proud to back out of what's been done in order to get what they need. I wish I could see big twin hugs to resolve this.
Author's Response: Neither twin wants to stop the other from having what they think the other wants. They would each do anything for the other, even if it hurt them. And neither wants to make the other feel bad by being needy. It's a tough place for them for sure.

Sorry I've missed the past few chapters, it's been a really difficult time for me lately and I have unhappily let a lot of things slide.
Oh noooo, so it's gotten to this point! I could feel their unhappiness and anxiety bleeding through in this chapter, which maybe made it so difficult for me because there's been a lot of that at home lately. ._. Poor boys, each of them thinking the other wants this, just trying to do the right thing for each other, and not able to have a real conversation because of those false impressions! Ria is definitely the villain here and she's going to reap something she is not looking forward to, I am so sure. It's like a case of trying to do the wrong thing for the right reasons?
Not exactly a good time for Tom to meet Nick... *wince*
