DEAR GOD, can my heart take MORE of these two??? I THINK SO!!! And omg, I want to throttle those men for that song, yet at the same time, it pretty much caused that for Tom to get his first Captain's kiss and I'm all GRINNING, just like Tom because of it!!! I cannot get over Bill's quiet admission and how you can tell he is holding back some emotion, because he doesn't want to scare Tom, when the boy is already so nervous out of his wits!!! KISH, OMG, I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS STORY AND I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH MY HEART CAN TAKE IT, but you realize that this is the kind of story in which I'm going to re-read over and over again, and fall even more in love with it?

This is REALLY good. I didn't look at any of the warnings (probably should have, but I wanted to be surprised XD), so, apart from that Tom's gay in a time period where that's taboo, and that it's a military tradition at Valentine's Day, all I know about this fic is what I've read. And so far, what I've read is REALLY good. I can't wait to read the next chapter ^-^

This story is so sweet. I love the moments when they're snuggled close to each other and Tom is nervous, i find it really cute. i saw this story on recents and i looked at the author and my first impression was that "This is gonna be a good story". Im so proud of all that you post!

Hehe, this is definitely very different to how you usually write.
Hmm, judging how the military has pretty much been homophobic these past many decades, I can barely wrap my mind around such a "tradition". But, it's for the fic :)
Wow, this really threw into sharp light how different Europeans are from Americans regarding sexuality. I'd already noticed before, but here it plainly shows that Brits (and other Europeans) aren't afraid of goofing around implying their friends are gay.
Here, American guys are so damn insecure, I have virtually *never* seen them do the same joking around XD One guy saying that another guy is gay is like... a super insult. *extreme rolleyes*

Kish I really, sincerely think you want to kill me. Half of this chapter I wanted to cry and the other half I'm pretty sure I had multiple heart attacks, because, ugh, they're just so so so so soooooooooooo freaking cute and lovely and beautiful and wonderful together even if they're only flirting still. I love how attentive Bill is to Tom and how he holds nothing back from him, and how sweet and polite Tom is while being totally desperate for Bill's attention at the same time.
This line killed me about 1000x over, I swear:
"No, sir. No objections, sir."
Ughhh this fic is probably the cutest thing I have experienced in my whole existence and ahhh I just want them to kiss already, so so so soooo much ;-;

As much as I hate the boys teasing Tom oh, so much, I just want Bill to keep making Tom blush even more with his utter sweetness and thoughtfulness. I don't think Tom can love him more if he tries, but hey, the story isn't over yet so he just might!
The whole beginning had me swooning to no end, because the mental image of Bill shaving Tom just...*explodes*

My god, this is wonderfully done. The characters are original, the plot is well thought out and makes sense...and the writing is crafted so well. I cannot wait to see what the epilogue has in store for us all. Bill's character is wonderful. Brilliant stuff.
