Bby, I read this b/c you mentioned in your spotlight interview thinger-congrats!-and I just have to say I Love It. Call me dumb, but I had no idea that it was Scotty who had died, lol. I was so sad and then so happy... and it was perfect.

Well... Almost six months later and even when I knew the outcome of the story, I still cried... That is fantastic! You are fantastic!
The first time I read it I didn't really know You and Your writings... And after being spoiled with "The Attic", "Eyes betray the soul", "Arabian Nights" and "a Wolf's Tale" I noticed how much You have developed over the nine months that have passed since You published "Stars in Space"!
Please don't think I don't like it, because I do, it has a very special place in my heart, but I do not think it is the best You have written any more, as I said, You have spoiled me with excellent works like "A Wolf's Tale" etc...
I still say...
"@£#%&}@$£@%& for making me think Bill was dead!!!" ;)
I noticed You wrote it in first person, and I think that's why it is so good! You make the reader apart of the story in a very different and direct way, by making it in first person! i really felt Tom's pain and anguish over his dead brother!
Still feels bad for Scotty though... Never mentioned it in the first review!
Can't believe no one has reviewed it in six months... A shame really!!! I hope people are still reading it...
I am in the process of revisiting Your older works... Next up is... I will give You a clue... I told You I would read it again in the winter...
I love the way You make Bill sneak up upon the reader... How You slowly make us and Tom understand that he isn't dead... Everything from "The only thing I could hear was the voice of my little brother." to "I miss him too" was pure angst...
That last line Is actually slightly funny too... I can see Tom's befuddled expression over that remark... I know... I have a crazy sense of humour...

I still can't believe that You actually made me (how ever small) part of that story... AND that You worked so many of my suggestions/requests into the epilouge...

yeah it scared the hell out of me i would say. first i was sooooo sad that bill had died and then i realised that he wasn't and i was happy and then it hit me that scotty had and it was still sad.. :/ poor scotty, but beautiful story. those stars in the bed so cute

Beautifully written. It makes me feel so sad that Bill died and Tom realized how much he cared for him, but I feel happy that Bill is always with him. That their connection is that strong. It leaves me questioning if Tom will last, or would he just follow after? And would Bill be angry with him if he did? So many thoughts and different ways things could turn out in my mind.
I love the last sentence. Its one of my favorite parts. =']

oh you scared me so badly there! though i completely understand Toms reaction when he thought it was his brother who died - or did i get it wrong? - was it becasue he got a fright of how close his brother had come to dying? anyway..i loved it
