You captured very realistic, very twinlike feeling in here. This tasted like life and the characters were spot on. I feel sotrry for poor fish, but maybe it just had to happen so they could start with their doggie farm? :)

Both of the twins were so cute in this, but I especially enjoyed Tom's fretfulness over the fish and his cute little growing crush, and Bill's possessiveness over him.

Omg I could have cried when Nena/Fishie/Finny went down the drain! I would kill Tom if he killed my fish :c (I have four...and this story reminds me that the tank definitely needs cleaning cause you can hardly even see into it. Oops.)

He'll be okay! ;) I love betta fish! I had one that lived for more than four years which I'm told is pretty ancient for a betta. They are so pretty and my one used to swim to the top and let me pet his back. I hope you get your tank cleaned without any catastrophes. Bill's songs are a nice touch! He's got the annoying-little-brother/future singer role down pat!
But Bill takes wonderful care of his pets, right? I'm steadfastly forgetting your Dogs Unleashed story and thinking of real life Bill. He dresses Baby, and lets Baby roll in a blanket which conveniently covers her modesty. He snuggles her. He may not feed, walk, or clean up after her I suspect, but the love and coddling is still there!

I totally DID NOT base Bill's songs on silly songs that silly people sing to their dog all the time. I don't know where you get such ideas! I've never had a sibling, so I'm glad you thought the annoying brother vibe worked. I always worry about writing brothers. I hope Bill takes as good care of his pets as it seems. I love how you described him covering the dog's modesty with a blanket. That pic and pose was so cute. Someday I long to see a picture of him scooping up dog poo. In that moment, he will become truly human to me.
