I just... can't even right now. The Bill/Bu parts I tried to skim over, but then realized I needed them to understand so I read them and just oh dear.
This has nothing to do with your writing (cause in fact it's so damn amazing), but this fic has put me on such an emotional roller coaster, that when it's done, I don't think I'll be able to ever read it again. Just a couple more days. I'll be a squirmy mess for just a couple more days, and then I will wait patiently for the next story you write, that will probably again make me squirmy. The joys of finding a good author.

Incredible chapter. Poor Bill with everything he thought he knew about those he loves being turned on its head. Its so good that Anis is there to ground him and help keep him calm and safe. At the moment I'm not quite sure who I want Bill to be with, though. He and Anis are amazing together, but I think Bill still loves Tom no matter what, and that Tom's finally had a wake up call as to how much he really loves Bill and also what a real shit his father is, so maybe with counselling the two of them could make a go of it. But then I'd feel really sad for Anis. I think Bill could cope with Anis's job because he got such a thrill from the car chase even while he was scared, so he can understand what drives Anis to stay in the job. Also, Bill's probably realised there are more important things in mind than wealth and status. I can't wait to find out how you're going to tie this all up. Thank you for a story that's such compulsive reading.

Author's Response: Had to respond to this one....I'm so sorry about the list of pairings and warnings and genres and such - sometimes it's so difficult to decide what to put in there, especially when there are gray areas. Bill/Tom are the main couple. The story is about their relationship, and then Bu's lack of one (poor lonely Bu), and the possibility of finding happiness. So, even IF Bill/Bu end up together, it would be at the end, and Bill/Tom have most of the relationship in the story. If I don't make your dreams come true with this story, I hope that at least you enjoy reading it!

Author's Response: Awesome! OMG I cried a little. (swiffs some tissues, blows nose). Thank you - I can't believe how many people who don't like Bill/Bu are reading this, I'm astounded! And as for the die-hard Tom/Billers, since 98 percent of the slash on the site is for them, I try to give the Billshido lovers out there a bit of fun. And, to be honest, the very last chapter isn't done, and I never know what my characters are going to do until I'm writing, so who knows, Bill might decide to stay with the financial safety net that he so desperately needs! Maybe. Not sure yet.
