yay! you made my day today by posting another chapter. I hope Tom is not cheating again and only told Bill a half truth I wish I really knew what was going through Tom's head. well anyways keep up the good work. I wouldn't want to leave San Francisco for Texas either, poor Bill.
Author's Response: Well, we'll find out in the next chapter a little bit more. A lot more. Tom, I'm thinking he's just not a terribly complex person. He loves Bill, doesn't want to lose him. But is it more about feeling possessive? He's in an awful hurry to knock Bill up. And I wouldn't want to leave SF for Dallas, either! Although, if I lived in SF, the idea of all that sunshine might actually be a bit of a pull...

As usual it took a few days for all this to sink in and all I can come up with is a concern about Tom!!!!!
You dont give him too many chances in this story, do you? There is no Tom POV...
You realise this is putting him in the weak spot, we all (except you) dont know what he is really thinking and feeling...
I know this is intentionally, but it takes away his chances to the readers heart. Or not. I keep wondering if he is genuine in his effort to win Bill back. He seems so sure of this love, he suddenly wants the baby.
I want to know what he is doing when he is away from Bill.
And im still shocked to see that I do not care who Bill will end up with. As much as I want them all to be happy, I still feel he is in this marriage for the wrong reasons and he needs to grow up emotionally. It seems that he didnt find his true self yet.
Micah is a very nice man, i like him a lot, I hope he will not fall in love with Anis and have his heart broken. Anis is so gone for Bill its scary.
Author's Response: Oh, I know Tom isn't getting his due here. But he's not a terribly sympathetic character, and this particular story focuses on Bill and Bu. I try to put enough into his actions to give hints about his personality (you might not want to know what he's doing away from Bill!). I too like Micah. We'll have to wait and see what's in the cards....

I'm so glad that Bu didn't go through with the hand job in the toilet, it would just have made him feel worse afterwards. I kind of like him and Micah together. Love that name,by the way, it's the same as one of Laurel Hamilton's characters in her Anita Blake series. But I feel sad because I'm sure Micah is going to end up in love with Anis, but I think Anis will remain in love with Bill, so any other relationship will just be superficial for him no matter how much he likes Micah. The interactions with Reggie and Jake's kids were adorable...Uncle Bu, and his 'kissing friend'. Lovely. Amazing chapter, as always. You can do no wrong in my eyes. Waiting for the next one...pretty please.
Author's Response: Bu couldn't go through with it - he could see it from Bill's perspective and how hurt he'd be. I like him and Micah too (haven't heard of the Anita Blake series, but it doesn't sound quite gay enough for me ;)....Not sure how Micah's feelings will develop. And you're right, Anis' feelings for Bill are definitely going to affect other relationships. Glad to hear the interactions with the kiddies turned out good - sometimes it can be hard to make kids sound natural (which is an issue I have with my next planned story, but I'll tell you about that later). As for doing no wrong....well, YAY! Then the little mistakes should go unnoticed (laffin). I'm so so thrilled you're enjoying this that much! Next chapter, no later than Tuesday, hopefully tomorrow. I hate to say this, but I think Bill should stop with the lovey-dovey stuff because it really isn't helping things any. If he's going to be with Tom, then he has to be with Tom. Not keep breaking Bu's heart every time they see each other, or when they talk or text.
Author's Response: I kind of feel sorry for both of them. Bill is having a really, really hard time letting go of Bu. It's not good for either of them. But since when do people care about what's good for them? Good isn't easy, it isn't fun. And they're both emotionally tied now, and don't know what to do with those emotions. The easiest thing, the thing that feels best, is to stay as close as they can. Bill is staying committed, but he also doesn't want to cut all ties to Bu. Poor guys :( Thanks for the review!

This is soooo sad! Ansi and Bill are both loyal and committed to do the right thing, I think that it is this that what would make them a perfect couple, but also because of this they cannot be... Unless something major comes in, like we nave not seen what Senior is up to! I feel for them as I still feel for Tom, who is desperately trying to do the right thing.

Favourite line in this chapter - 'It was a serotonin cocoa swaddle.' Could chocolate be descibed any better? I think I'm just as unsure about Tom as Bill is. The very mention of him working late or being away for a few days and I'm wondering what he'll be getting up to. I know he's trying really hard but he's still mixing with a lot of the same people for business so I don't trust that he won't be tempted, especially if he's not getting as much sex at home. I loved the visit to Andreas. It was great to see him and Bill getting along again, and I know he kind of has an ulterior motive for not wanting things to work out with Tom but he knows a lot about what Tom got up to before and I do think he hasn't told everything. I just think he doesn't want to see Bill get hurt any more and he's actually talking a lot of sense, saying things Bill knows are true but is choosing to ignore. As always, the scene with Anis was so sweet and so very painful. The part where Bill sees the hope disappear from Anis's eyes was heartbreaking for both of them. Again, I'm kind of suspicious about Tom's contract being extended another 2 weeks, but is that just me? Another fantastic chapter. Thank you.
