This story is amazing. Truly. Very well written. However, I think you should change the pairing. When you set the main pairing to Tom/Bill I kind of expected it to end as Tom/Bill since clearly, Bushido/Bill isn't really a side pairing if they end up together. Just saying.. As amazing as this story was I was slightly disappointed at the end because of this. You should let the reader know what they can accept. Definitely a gem! Great writing style! And I really did enjoy it! But not the story I was looking for, sorry :/
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing, I'm glad you (sort of) liked it! The Pairings listing is the one I've noticed most people complain about, no matter what pairings are listed! For this story, Bill/Tom are the main couple. Bill/Bushido are a POSSIBILITY. Even though Bill leaves Tom at the end, the story deals with their relationship throughout. Therefore, they are the main pairing. Bill/Bushido aren't actually together for this story, therefore, they are a side pairing. What happens at the end isn't the main part of the story - Bill/Tom are a couple until the end, which, to me, means they are the main pair. So, I'll stand by that because it's how I see it. Sorry if it wasn't what you were expecting!

I really enjoyed reading your story. THe first few chapters from Bushido's perspective reminded me of those new films noir, where the main character introduces you to the events. It's a shame that Bill's relationship with Tom ended this way (I admit it is my fav pairing), and if this character wasn't Tom, I would probably hate him more. Cheating husbands are bastards.
Anyway, it was first story I read in a while that was written from the narrator's perspective I didn't even mind and even really liked it.

Oh, you got fearured AND you have a banner. I was just lurkin' on the featured fics and I just saw. I am so proud of you! I wish it would of been me who got you featured, but I must confess I have no idea how this is done...

Author's Response: Hi, Lynn Ivan! That was very sweet of you to say you wish you'd been the one to get me featured, thank you! I put in to have Thairice's Bad featured a couple months ago but it was when the Schrei box was up so there were no featured stories at the time. Under the main menu it has "Feature a Fic!" and that's what you click on, so next time you're reading a good story, let them know! I just finally figured out how to put on plain pics as banners, so I rushed right into it. No idea how to do the real banners with pics of the twins or manips or anything, but I think long stories, at least, need a picture to catch the eye. Thanks again!

heh well let me know what u think of mirror images, its really long but sooo worth it, one of my all time favorites... and as for Tom, i dont feel sorry for him cus he is THE tom :D but mainly because he really actually loved Bill. I just dont understand why he couldnt stay faithful but i guess i dont even want to know cus then it'd make sense to me and thats not good :D:D
Author's Response: I have Mirror Images back in my tracked stories. It had been there for a while, but I'd taken it out because it ISN'T FINISHED!!!! It's so hard to get into a story that hasn't been updated in four months! rnAs for Tom, he's just one of those guys. No impulse control, no real ability to empathize with others, no understanding of cause and effect. The reasons are probably his upbringing. A mother who was gone a lot, a dad like Senior... Just kind of damaged Tom's ability to have a mature, respectful relationship. Oh well. Could be worse. :D

I really enjoyed this! I had seen it a few times in the recent updates and bookmarked it to read later; then I saw it was complete and I'm so glad I read it!
I liked how it started from Bu's perspective so I could get an outsider's perspective of Bill before seeing him through his own mind. You really showed a full picture of who Bill was throughout the story - his actions,motivations - without dumping it on the reader all at once and not in a boring narrative way.
I liked that it wasn't an easy path for them and they did try to work through troubles. Life is complicated and you totally nailed that!
Tom did it all to himself, but you still feel sorry for him. I am glad Bill is with Bu though! ;)

I hadn't really seen that aspect of Anis with regard to his relationhsip with Andrej until you pointed it out. So, yes, Anis also has his selfish side and I wonder if that unwillingness to put himself in his lover's shoes with regard to the danger in his job will cause problems for him and Bill. Another thing - or person - I also forgot about was Andreas. I wonder if he's going to make an appearance in the sequel and if he and Bill are still friends how will Anis feel about that considering Andi almost killed Bill, even if he did only mean to scare him. Okay, I have to let the suppositions go and let you get on with writing the sequel. Can't wait.

Hi! Thank you so much for the awesome story and i honestly can't wait till the sequel! it really changed drastically but i'm more than happy with the way things turned out. However i feel sorry for Tom, cus i know he honestly loved Bill, just... he has issues... Anyway now you made me dream of a man like Bu. Author's Response: Yay! rnA lot of people feel bad for Tom. I can understand that, everyone's reading it from an outsider's perspective. Imagine being Bill's friend, and he tells you that Tom cheated again and one of his girls is pregnant, right when Tom was trying to get HIM knocked up! You know you'd tell him "kick that dog to the curb!" But since we all LOVE Tom and Bill, it's harder to see Tom as such a bad guy. rnI made Bu your dream man!!!
