This was sad! The stress driving Bill to binge, and Tom putting his foot down though it probably hurt to do that to Bill. And Bill turned it around on Tom, making it seem like Tom was the one with a problem! What a messy situation.
I liked this. It made me think of things I hadn't considered with bulimia; the guilt, hiding it, the emotions, the stressors.... Every fic you write that has to do with disorders, I learn a little bit more! Thank you for that.
I might work with patients with anorexia and bulimia in a hospital, probably in a rehab setting - namely recommendations about whether it's safe to eat or not, and food consistency. I'll collaborate with gastrointestinologists (totally made that term up, but you know what I mean), pulminologists, and nutritionists. ^_^ So, this story means more to me than you know.
