Haha, I could hardly believe that there was an update. But it was worth the wait; the relationship between Alan and Charlie is an interesting twist to the story, and I like finding out more about them.
Plus it seems like Tom and Bill are finally rebuilding their relationship, which is always a good thing :)

Very emotional chapter!
I was so pleased to see the notification email in my inbox that this had been updated, because this really is such an amazing story. One of my favourites at the moments.
You have the ability to really drag your readers into a story and make them really feel for the characters (be that love, or hate in Dr Amsel's case), and feel involved in their lives. That includes Charlie and Alan, you're doing a really great job on your own characters! This chapter was so full of longing and loneliness for the twins (you really do portray their emotions well), that it made me ache a little too. The ending gave me hope though... In a subtle, understated way, another quality I love in your writing.
I hope everything settles down and sorts itself out in your life, and you find the time to write again soon. But, rest assured, that I'll be patiently awaiting the next update from you no matter how long it takes anyway, you always make the wait worthwhile!
