OK, wow, I'm only at chapter 15 and I have to leave a comment.
First, after 4 hours of reading, I have to bow at the shrine of Froggy. OMG, this has been such a powerful, intimate, realistic-feeling ride with the twins. Your writing makes me envious.
The little details and observations about them are amazing. I loved this paragraph:
"While Tom distracted his brother with a battle for control between their tongues, the majority of his attention was on what he was doing with his fingers. One of the blessings of being a musician was that his hands could obey orders even when the world attempted to distract him."
Great commentary on Tom's fingers. *sigh*
I love the pacing too, I can't wait to follow this story to it's conclusion.

This is one of the best fanfictions that I've read in a long time. The concept of it is unique and the relationship that flows is natural and makes sense. I haven't reviewed each chapter because, well, I've been just reading it straight through!
I definitely want to comment on your characterisation of Dr. Amsel. It's extremely relatable to a horrific "counseling" incident I had when I was younger. I was scared to death and felt like my mind was being invaded and controlled. I daresay Tom gave up easier than I did, but the connection is there. It was just kind of freaky to see such a similar story happen in a fanfiction.
The writing quality is fantastic. It's been so long since I've found a decent quality fanfic that this one is magnificent. I look to seeing more of your writing!!!

God, it's taken me ages to realize that 26 was actually a new chapter ^^° I'm sorry bout that.
Anyway, I liked this chapter. Not a lot was going on or anything but a chapter like this every now and then that is a little more quiet and slower than the rest is a necessity for a story such as this; what with all the emotional drama you make us go through with the twins.
I just hope they're able to do the whole genuine thing. I mean, Alan and Charlie were a lot older than them when they finally came through and admitted to their feelings... and it's a really hard thing to do, especially after months of that sort of brain wash...
I sincerely hope things will turn out to be okay again for you.
