Dr Engle did not really lie to Simone. He only suspects that inappropriate touching is still going on. Bill did not admit to anything really.

I have so much that I want to say about this story, but I can't seem to get everything in order in my head.
First; I loved it. I read the entire thing in one sitting, only taking breaks to pee and get a cup of coffee. I was captured by the raw emotion in the beginning. Children are such a true gift. They see things in such a simplistic way, and you can learn so much from observing them. Children are supposed to be nurtured, and I must say, the character of Dr. Alan Engle was fantastic. He was a god-send when both the twins and Simone needed it most. It's not often in life that you can find the people that you really need when you ACTUALLY need them.
Second; Every single word here rang with certainty and truth. So much is misunderstood, and then feared, because it is human nature to fear things we don't understand. While that's a shame, it is hard fact. That really came through in this. Everything from the interactions on a child's level to the way the therapy sessions went. Granted, I haven't got a twin, so I can't vouch for the truth in their brotherly interactions, but as lovers, this was right as rain. I've had explossive relationships myself, and you either work it out, or you don't. Those that can, and do it for the right reasons, recieve the gift of a true love that should never go unanswered. Those that don't, well, it varies. They're either better off for it, or they spend years looking back, wondering what they did wrong. Mine exploded, and I've both gotten over it and hated myself and all that other stuff for periods of time after each one. Either way, it's never easy, that's for sure. I almost feel like I should thank you for making it seem to real and true.
Thirdly(I'm not even sure that's a real word); I want to thank you for how beautifully written this is. The language was easy to understand, and I think the chapter titles and the coinciding definitions were a stroke of genius. They were obviously well planned out and alot of thought went into every key stroke.
I don't think that's even half of what I wanted to say, but that's the most important, I think. Suffice to say, this is a wonderfully crafted and executed work of fiction.

I'm glad that Tom ran into Charlie. Those plot holes needed to be filled in for me and Tom needed to know what it would be like from thevother side to see the worst and that they could still come out of it.

Wow the boys are in over their head. Poor babies. I wish they would fight to have Alan. I have a feeling they are going to do something dramatic. They are awfully dramatic right now.
