This was pretty hard to read because my daughter is struggling again at the moment and self-harmed the other day for the first time in over a year. But you have got the emotions so right. I can so empathise with Tom's POV, trying to understand why and feeling pretty helpless against an enemy he can't fight but can see is destroying his brother. So sad. Extremely well-written as always.
