I'm having a hard time understanding why the fight started or why Bill is lashing out at Tom. I've read it over a couple of times to see if I missed something. I think there is a gap between what you are seeing and what the reader is seeing.
Author's Response: Bill has been abused now for some time and has been supressing his anger a lot. And now, he lashes it out on the only other person he hopes will understand him. I'll try making it clearer later on :)
